Beautiful cenote but in fact is a mangroove, just consider that there arent much of space in the entrance to leave your stuffs or to chill in the shore, for mxn150 is a very good deal but the staff will charge you extra mxn100 is you enter with a camera just for the reason to get more money from you but the cenote itself is amazing, when i visited (jan-2025) the staff mentioned that they havent seen the crocodrile since a couple of months, plenty of fauna, blue crabs and plenty of fish.

Save yourselves some money and don’t book the snorkeling tour. All our guide did was swim with us, no explanations whatsoever. if you know how to swim, just snorkel without the guide.

Pretty small, so don’t bother taking a kayak or a water board. It’s beautiful, but not a lot to see underwater, no idea why so many people dive there.

They are very greedy and even charge you for flying a drone.

The entrance appearance is bad compared to other places, but I guess they can pull it off because they are so close to the hotels.

Facilities are a bit basic, parking is a little crowded and the price of 150 pesos per person is too high, as that also includes for kids. 150 pesos per adult I can understand, but not for kids, and especially not for kids under 10.

Tje Cenote itself is fantastic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend snorkeling over scuba diving the location, as all the great stuff is visible from the top down. Whereas on the bottom you have to look up, which is pretty pointless on scuba!!!

If this Cenote didn’t feel like you was stepping in to a time share salespersons front office, this would have been a five star review.

On a big plus, the cafe / bar opposite is excellent.

We had a great time at Casa Cenote today. We found the staff very welcoming and polite, we took the guided tour around the cenote and had plenty of time to explore through the mangroves.

With the tour they also include snorkel hire, flippers and life jackets, which is good value for $500 peso’s each person.

They do charge for things like Go-Pros to be used, but it’s not excessive.

There were plenty of groups there who all seemed to be having a lovely time too. The road is a little bumpy to the cenote, but that’s not their doing, just worth mentioning.

Would highly recommend 😁
