Ate at Struts 2 days ago and They’re loaded nachos or some of the best I’ve ever had. And Their fried jalapeño with crushed sauce were kicking hot and delicious. They sliced them and I really enjoyed that difference. They’ve got the best wings in the area. All the girls working and serving whether it be behind the bar or the tables are great. They’re great personalities and I never miss an opportunity to go there when I’m in town from Florida. This past time I had Hannah who was new to the bar and she did a great job making my specialized margaritas. Probably my favorite place to go, I sure it is my favorite place to go in Jacksonville.

After hearing so many recommendations I decided to go to Struts and likely won't be back. After waiting 10 minutes standing at the host stand, we were told to sit anywhere from the bartender. While looking for a table, most were covered with dirty plates, the rest weren't even wiped down, this remained for the next 10 minutes while we waited to finally be greeted. Felt rather rushed after waiting so long to get a menu, then when we asked for a few minutes and our server seemed to disappear for another 10 minutes. Watched a table get completly ignored and never served, they were able to call and order, from their table, and get to go food faster than getting greeted. I was their to watch a game, and most of the tvs didn't work. Other tables were given better treatment and even brought in food from other places. Once we received our food, (which was only one appetizer and one entree) half of it was wrong and the food itself was underwealming. Mozzarella sticks would have been better from the frozen section at the grocery store. The check was brought before we even started eating. We got desert from a different server, after ours left without warning, which the desert happened to be the only good experience.

Stopped for lunch with my boss. Ordered the bacon jalapeno burger with fries. Flavor was pretty good..served with a side sauce condiment. Not sure what it was, pretty sure it was mayo mixed with something. Not many people in there for a lunch crowd.clean restroom.

This to be my favorite place to eat in Jacksonville and in Oxford since 2002. It has been going downhill since last year. I have thought that if I came back couple of months later several times service and attitudes from waitresses would be better especially if we had different waitress. This is the 5th time I have came since March 2024. Everytime food is burnt or don't taste right. Chicken wings and chicken fingers one time was even not done. They come to table fill the drinks never come back for refills. But you are eatting spicy food need more drink when u need it. Well today all this happened at the same time. We were here at 12:30 pm literally did not get food till 1:45 pm. It don't take that long to fix food. I had an appt at 2 pm. I very nicely walked to the cash register to request the ticket. The older lady said she will be with you in minute if you will just go back to your table. I told her a had a appointment and said oh well she will be with you in a minute. They gave us extra sauces we didn't order and the blue cheese was nasty. I returned the blue cheese immediately. The tea was sour. We ordered 4 and had to change the drinks. They charged us for every sauce they gave us. We returned 6 sauces. The waitress finally came over at 2:10 pm to hand me the ticket. She started taking off the extra sauces then stopped and then told older lady to get me took care of. Then older lady said I will get to her when I have time to. She came up with 5 more tables to go to before she came back with her attitude. She took an extra 15 mins to get me. When she came back to the cash register. She said you requested the sauces. I said no we requested the one for each for each of the foods we ordered that came with our food. There were 4 adults and 1 child. I paid $80 for the food that was not right. I am highly dissatisfied at this point. I wished they would get their people under control where the 3 women attitudes do not run customers off. Literally there were 3 women doing it all. They need better service and cooks.
