Okay so after so many people telling me to go try this place I finally had the chance to do so today. We traveled over to Hueytown today and ate at a restaurant known as Bell Peppers. Even got to meet the owner and everything. He was very nice and even made our orders for us.

So here's a bit about this place. It's low carb friendly, keto friendly, and its a diabetics paradise. The owner if I'm not mistaken is a diabetic himself (Tony made a friend). Everything there was made fresh and was super delicious. The pizza was my favorite and if no one told you, you would never know that the pepperoni, sausage, and bacon on the pizza was all Turkey meat.

I was very happy to leave this black owned restaurant not feeling like I shouldn't have eaten this. The inside was very clean and the food is top quality. You get what you pay for.

My sister and I decided to try this restaurant and we WEREN'T disappointed. Environment was clean and not crowded. The owner made suggestions on what to eat based upon our likes. The pizza's are freshly made and taste amazing. I ate the entire pizza that's how good it was. The juices are just as good and refreshing. We will definitely be returning

It is always a delight to see a restaurant open that has your health in mind. Low carb, fresh ingredients, and a select menu is what Bell Peppers has to offer. The fine print that is not available to read is a wait time of over an hour if you place your order during lunch after 12pm, what you see online is not available in restaurant, no you may not call in your order, and the quality of your food may not match the quantity paid (but there is a no refund sign).

Because we were told it would be 1hr & 40min for a 10" pizza, my friend and I decided to order something different. At 12:42 pm we placed an order for a donut waffle slider ($7.49), an almond flour Belgium waffle ($9.99) that I was not allowed to add two scrambled eggs to, and two bottles of water. At approximately 1:53 pm the waffle was ready and 2:10 pm the waffle slider was ready. I guess we could have waited for the pizza. After being in business for a week, investing in and learning kitchen stations would be a wise investment for customer service and restaurant longevity. You just can't operate under first come first serve but have multiple orders going at once. My disappointment was as such, I can't return.
