The wings and pizza are excellent. Had the meat pizza toppings were plentiful, wings were cooked perfectly.

Mellow Mushroom is our very favorite gourmet pizza restaurant. It is located in downtown Auburn. It is a great place to experience the Auburn spirit. Tonight Parker took very good care of us. She was extremely busy but did a good job. Our choice was the large house pizza, which has a combination of a lot of ingredients. The crust is uniquely good as it is made from a combination of whole and enriched wheat. We always get the butter garlic dipping sauce for dipping out crust. It was delicious and a great evening. Yes, we will return.

We’ve been to a couple of these chains in different locations and they’ve always been outstanding. We shared a small build your own pizza and regular size Caesar. A nice glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc accompanied. Husband had tea and they were out of sugar packets but rustled up a ramekin with some in it. Olivia was fantastic and we loved sitting at the bar watching the pizza masters and salad chef.  Definitely visit if you haven’t! It was the beginning of game day weekend and we were not rushed even though they were busy. Most excellent! Very clean!

Been customer for yrs always had great food and great service until tonight. The food as usual out of 10 the service one out of 10. Ordered a pick up pizza for 6 PM. Got there at 5:58 and almost always that pizza is ready within two or three or maybe five minutes after the scheduled time, it was actually tonight. The pizza was ready at 6:01 for 6 o’clock pick up but again I got there at 5:58 and told him who I was and the name the pizza was under. She looked at me and told me there are no pizzas available as you can see, which was correct because there were no pizzas on the table  or the oven at 6:01 one of the cooks up the pizza call out my name said online order and put the pizza on top of the oven. I waited to see if the server would turn around to go get it. She didn’t so waited a minute another two pizzas were delivered to be ready , a few minutes another couple pizzas were made ready. A couple customers came in and picked up their pizzas. I sat there at the counter waiting for her to look at me. She didn’t fast-forward 13 minutes later I had to ask her if one of those pizzas was mine she said let me check , and it was the same one that was 601 I don’t remember her name but she had purple hair and blue eyeliner had no interest in me being there or anything to do with me and probably I’d still be sitting there 30 minutes later, if I hadn’t asked her to sit check on my pizza  someone needs to teach a little bit more about customer service in the service industry. Otherwise the pizza is great.

I have two favorite food items at Mellow mushroom, and neither of them are technically the pizza (even though the pizza is so good!). Mellow probably has the best calzone in town, like the ricotta in there is *chefs kiss* and you get to dip it in their Mellow sauce (ask for extra haha). But the real shocker here is that I am 99% sure that the best wings in Auburn are found here. I cannot attest to all flavors, but the cloud 9 wings are all the flavors you've ever desired all at once. Also vibes here are 10/10 for the colorful hippie nature-themed art that I love.
