Two birthdays to celebrate and BRAVO didn’t disappoint. We made the smart decision to make a reservation because this was a busy night! Food was great, service was punctual and very accommodating, and the vibes, despite the hustle and bustle, were immaculate. Thank you all for giving my mom and brother the birthday dinner they deserved after some tough last few weeks!

Have never been to Bravo! before so we decided to check it out while doing some shopping on Bridge Street.  A sign out front recently announced they were open for Brunch till 3pm on weekends but that's not why we came to Bravo! Italian Kitchen.  We came in and were informed there would be a 15-20 minute wait due to the restaurant being at capacity for lunch. That was fine with us so we were happy to wait.  While we did, an executive chef came over and gave our child some balloons (left by a previous kid's party) which made her day.

The restaurant physically reminds me of  Cheesecake Factory when it comes to a sophisticated interior with high end touches, but it is much more open concept (not filled with high backed booths you can see across the dining room for the most part), there isn't any loud music and it is a pretty calm place.  It's one of 25 restaurants scattered across the eastern United States, with most of them being located in PA and OH.

While we were waiting, they gave us menus so we could look while we waited (wish more restos would do this).  After a little waiting, we were seated and had our drink order taken (they serve Pepsi products).  We were also able to immediately order thanks to having gotten a menu in the lobby.  I picked the Lasagna, wife got the Tomato Caprese (tomatoes with fresh mozzerella slices, basil and a balsamic reduction) and a cup of wedding soup, kids got Mac n Cheese and chicken tenders.

Kitchen had ran out of bread sticks and we had to wait for some to come out of the oven - they came hot served with a plate of garlic and oil to dip in and was pretty tasty.

Food came out relatively quick.  My lasagna was interesting - it was a lot smoother than I am used to with regards to texture.  Taste was on the sweater side (mostly due to a lot of ricotta and cheese).  Wife was not a huge fan of the Caprese or the Wedding Soup (she thought the wedding soup was a tad tart).  One daughter liked her Mac N Cheese (wife said it had real cheese, which was a plus), older kid liked the fries with parmesan cheese on top, was much less enthusiastic with the chicken straps.  They were not over cooked (a plus) but also not noteworthy other than that fact.  I would have appreciated of the waitress had offered another round of hot bread.

Overall, a pretty good experience.  We aren't huge Italian fans (besides Pizza - wasn't super impressed with one I passed by on the way in) so can't judge the food harshly.  Prices were reasonable (a little more than Red Lobster/Olive Garden and well within the range of sit down meals, most dishes running around $20 with kids meals costing $9).  Atmosphere is awesome for a relaxing lunch while out shopping at Bridge Street and wasn't slam packed on Sunday after church. I'd swing by and check it out at least once!

Establishment is clean, service is not great but waitress was polite.
The bread is pretty good but that oil dip tastes kinda funky.
I was not impressed the food. The Chicken Fettuccine, was a bit tough to chew & the sauce wasn't great. The wedding soup was a bit too salty. The lunch specials are pretty pricey, considering they're half portions as per the menu options.

Beautiful restaurant with an adobe-style fired pizza oven.

Happy hour has specials on drinks and appetizers but they are half the portion.

We had the Peach Sangria and the Bravo Martini, both were excellent. No draft beer, but the selection of Bottled and canned was fine.

The bread was garlicky and buttery and came with a dish of spiced olive oil which was delicious.

I asked for a dipper of their Alfredo because I'm kind of a snob about Alfredo sauce, and I was disappointed. It's plain bechamel sauce, no butter or parmesan could be tasted. I mean come on. I can get this Alfredo at Fazoli's.

That helped me decide on the entree which for me was the Chicken Scalloppine and it was insane! The chicken was a little hard to cut into but that's OK. Herbed linguine with lemon butter caper sauce? Sign me up.

My husband had the Chicken Caprese which he liked but said the chicken was dry.

I was a little taken aback with the to-go box which was a loose rendition of a Chinese takeout box, which means the noodles will dry out overnight. For these prices, supply a bowl with a tight lid, dang it!

Our visit was elevated by Kelsey, who helped us decide on the dive bar we were going to visit next. She was friendly and outgoing, and the next time we are in town for work we will definitely return.

The food and service were okay.  It was not spectacular.  For me, it was the fact that it appeared as if random people were coming in through the back door to get into the facility.  I am not sure who came up with that concept, but it is a lot of you seated in the main row between the two doors.
