Well established and probably could be considered a staple of the city of Mobile because of its long  standing in the community.  As for the food,  I wasn't disappointed at all. The chicken, tots, and okra were fried to perfection and seasoned like grandma did it.
Let me be clear, this is a southern  fried chicken joint that doesn't fit into your calorie counting if that's what you're into but great for a cheat day if you are😁!

Champy’s can’t open a location in Mobile fast enough. Been eating Hart’s for over 40 years.  But now it’s salty chicken, only eight tots, and got charged the surcharge but paid cash. And it’s obvious they don’t want certain people to support their business.

Love Hart's Fried Chicken. I grew up on it. It could have been a Lil cleaner. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was ready in a reasonable amount of time.

The food was cold, and the chicken tasted old, I've never been there, and the food was that bad. The workers were leaning on the counter in the back instead of making sure the food was fresh. There was a rude customer in the store who made it very uncomfortable being there. The manager that runs that store couldn't have known they were serving horrible food like that.

We stopped by because it was recommended by the locals. The chicken was delicious. Unfortunately they were out of alot of sides but we still enjoyed our meal. We will be back next time we are in town.
