Ok I’m giving Mellow Mushroom 5 stars because, simply put, there’s no reason not to. First, it’s the best pizza in Mobile. 🍕 ❤️Sorry New York-Jersey-East Coast wannabes and your faux pizza purist fakeness, but it is. Extremely good. Service is always good. It’s not your Aunt Betty’s spotless kitchen and dining room but, come on, it’s a pizza joint… hovering over a college campus. So it is what it is, but yet it’s still pretty clean. I’m not into the bar scene and loud college kids, but I’ve never had an issue here either. It’s also pretty tight quarters inside. Still, nothing to take away a star. So take all that into consideration but just get here for the best pizza in town.

It's been quite a few years since I've went here and it still doesn't disappoint. The pizza is top notch and the people are great. But you have got to try the new spicy beer cheese and pretzels 🔥

Great tasting options. I had the BBQ pizza and it was awesome. Our server forgot about us slot so no 5 star but overall will definitely be going back. If we get bad service again I will change my review.

Place was loud due to design. Gluten free option was horrible for my wife. My daughter and my food option was OK but we took it to go. Took forever to get the food. Not going back. The strange thing is my wife had gone there for lunch awhile back with tennis friends and her food was awesome. The order we had the other night was terrible for the gluten free option. Barely any toppings and the crust was garbage.
