this place was adequate. It was really giving "event space with a bar" not a real restaurant feel they did not have draft beer. The service was a bit slow . I saw drinks mainly being made in plastic cups. The wings tasted decent, but they were really small. The okra was good, but I definitely left hungry afterwards.

Well can I say this was totally out of my atmosphere... Only cause the hubby wanted to go someplace that was serving soul food.. This place is only for the hipster crowd. We did a take out order.... We two old souls ain't got noooo' business in this joint. We were greeted with warmth and our order was taken quickly... Even they knew we ain't had noooo business in there.. lol too funny, then this song came on, "Where dem fans at" yea we'd better take our old selves to the house... I was soooooo uncomfortable... "It's electric" came on I felt like I was in a club... THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR THIS CHRISTIAN WOMAN, I better ask somebody next time 4 I go up in a place.... rotf.....

The music is always spot on for my liking when I walk in. The staff is welcoming and full of great suggestions. This is one of my ladies favorite spots and I hadn't experienced it before. The last time we came I was a tad too late to try the food but the drinks were great, well mixed and quickly served. This second time we made sure to get there for the food and America, this was beyond mind blowing. I was stuck between the wings and the lamb chops. She is a wing girl so I knew they had to be great but she wanted me to go big for my new job closure. The waitress suggested I get the lamb chops. I ordered lamb chops, mash, and broccoli and she got the fried salmon with the same sides. Let's just start with the lamb chops. OUT OF THIS WORLD! Deeply marinated, perfect amount of seasoning, cooked to a perfect medium rare. I was sucking bones the flavor was so deep on those and even sent a comment to the kitchen. The mash potatoes hada great depth of flavor as well. The broccoli was immaculate as well. I tried her salmon and i can tell you each step of the way of that it was seasoning in every motion thought of. It flaked just right and the crisp was perfect with a great golden brown on it. The sauce for it was beautiful I tell ya. I cannot lie I did not think it was about to go down like that but it did in the worst way ever lol. You got to make some time to give them some of your time and enjoy and unforgettable meal. You might see me there because I will be back. I'm trying not to make it a once a week thing but it is what it is. Good job to yall and shoutout to the kitchen again.

A buddy of mine took me here, food is prepared after you order. Guy was taking our orders and bussing our food all by himself. TVs around the place had sports own and I've heard the place gets pretty packed later on at night and the weekend. I liked the fried chicken it was really crunchy. Mac & cheese was really good. And the corn and cornbread was alright. Probably be back to try the rest of the menu

1st time in Montgomery and the 1st stop was here at Double Down. I called them and Dee answered the phone. They were pleasant from beginning to end!!! Chix wings were good, I also had lamb chops and cheese grits were fire!! Let's not forget they had champagne as well. Can't wait to visit again!!!

These might be some of the best happy hour specials in Montgomery now! The staff were extremely helpful and in good spirits and definitely made me feel welcome! 2 Tequila Sunrises Double Down Rice Bowl $21! I especially love that it's a family owned business. It was a great way to destress from work. ‍

Best fried okra I've ever had. Music is loud inside but in a good way great atmosphere friendly staff and the food was the best southern comfort food I've had

This place had the best vibe, DJ was playing all the jams. My food was delicious. I had the grilled tilapia with fries. Grilled and seasoned to perfection. Other meal was the wings and fries which were fried perfect. Our waitress checked on us and made sure our glasses stayed filled. Love this place and will be back. We originally came for the lamb chops but the menu is different on Wednesday.

When i say hands down , double down bistro is amazing ! i have gone about four sundays for brunch ! Not a bad meal ! From the top to the bottom as the top being the owner the customer service is amazing ! everyone greets you as soon as you walk through the door . The atmosphere has a real brunch vibe ! Football games , music , people ! Great job double down bistro keep up the great work .
