Cleanliness The second bus driver clearly loves his job. I think it gives him great satisfaction to go into work every day and know that he is here to give law and order to all that enter. He reminded us all to remember that the wheels on the bus go round and round and to listen to the bus driver. Make sure you don't distract the bus driver by laughing, breathing, enjoying music, or anything, but sitting quietly on the bus. He stated that he would pull the bus over and kick people off and kick anybody who did not report those people to him. It was late at night and we just wanted to go to sleep without all of that.

If your hand is all grey, then don't come here. Go to Greyhand instead. The memories of this place outlive its awesomeness. I remember thinking what a tiny little unassuming Greyhound station it was. It's still tiny but it has been really let go. A lot of people don't use Greyhounds anymore, at least people who are of the income bracket that cause/effect things to get cleaned up and built. It's a shame because Montgomery is a great city that deserves a better bus station. I give it three stars "Just For The Memories", but it's not a great place to hang out at night - especially not if you are timid or vulnerable. And if you are timid or vulnerable call me baby.

I hadn't ridden Greyhound in about a decade before this most recent trip, and man, it is mind-boggling just how unpleasant using Greyhound has become. One of our driver's was an hour late, which messed up the entire trip. There were many empty rows on the bus, but the driver forced me and another woman to sit crammed up next to each other because those were our assigned seats. When I asked if one of us could move to the next row (one of the many empty ones) she said no. Mind you, this was in the middle of the night when most passengers try to sleep, which is impossible with a stranger crammed next to you. That would be fine if the bus was full, but it wasn't--there was plenty of room for each passenger to have their own row, with some to spare. At our stops throughout the night we would often have to leave the bus so they could clean it or inspect it or whatever, and the driver and security would yell at us to go here, go there, stand in line, etc. Obviously certain instructions are necessary, but the passengers were frequently spoken to the way an annoyed teacher might speak to his/her middle school students, rather than like adults (adults paying for a service, no less). Anyway, I chose Greyhound to save on money, but next time I'll just splurge for a damn plane ticket.

Your bus driver Will Brown on Schedule 1161 sucks he rammed an 18 wheeler which caused our schedule to be delayed more than 3 hours. I was supposed to be in Mobile at 525pm and then the connecting bus Schedule 1241 had already left and the next bus Schedule 1565 to Mobile is delayed for 3 house now I'm not gonna get home until almost 1am. What was supposed to be an 8 hour trip is now gonna take 16 hours. All of us on the bus could have been killed. I'll never ride Greyhound ever again.

Greyhound customer service is very often bad, but staff working at the stations are usually kind and at least try to be helpful. Not so here, whoever was working the counter around Nov. 21 around 5:50 PM was completely unsympathetic as I tried to help a fellow traveler at this station with his ticket during a short layover at this station, and then wouldn't quote me a price on a ticket before swiping my credit card (which ended up being nearly twice the cost of what the ticket would have been buying online through the mobile app, which is what I was trying to get help with in the first place). And then literally walked away from the ticket booth indefinitely to do something else as I sought to explain that he'd misunderstood me and I was inquiring about the counter price for a ticket as compared to the app. Pretty bizarre. Maybe they're understaffed and thereby stressed, but I saw at least one other customer being responded to somewhat rudely as well during a stop here during a return trip.

Worst experience of my life! Plugs didn't work from the beginning of my trip. Then we had to sit in Montgomery, Alabama for over 3 hours because the air conditioning stopped working & the driver refused to drive the bus. Once they got the ac fixed he claimed someone had thrown up on the back of the bus & we needed to wait for someone to come clean it. He had no timeline on when someone could clean it for over 2 hours! The customer service rep said that the drivers usually clean that kind of stuff up & we could've been gone. Bus that followed mine 4 hours after we were scheduled to leave was full already causing me to miss work & loose money. I am also stuck at the train station because the person that had my car had to be at work before we got back in! Horrible service! Never had A good experience with grayhound, but this is my last time giving it the benefit of the doubt!

The clerk was nice. The bus was 2.5 hrs late without any notification. If the app would notify you of any changes in the schedule it would've been much easier to deal with.

If this is the only bus station to ship packages too, DO NOT DO IT. If you ship multiple packages, one might get there but the other might somehow get "lost" due to their adhering of the ticket slip on the box. I highly recommend shipping it to another greyhound bus station or simply use FedEx so you know that it'll get to you. And don't even bother trying to call them cause most likely they will not answer and you will get the automated voice system.

Worst Bus company ever. Was supposed to have a layover in Birmingham, AL instead they asked all of us to get off at Montgomery and said the connecting bus was cancelled. Which connecting bus? We were not in Birmingham yet! The driver said another driver was to take over but couldn't. I got a bad flu and was forced to have this unprecedented layover for over 5 hours. I asked for a refund so I could go get a rental nearby and they said it takes a long process to place a claim and they would deduct the covered trip at their discretion. Well I need to sue their assessment for my time and causing the flu I got plus I will ask for a full refund and will never take greyhound again. I will spread the word. Don't ride on greyhound if you have another choice. I should have paid for a rental!

3rd time riding the bus and I convinced that Greyhound is the worst bus service. The trip is not enjoyable at all. Seats are solid rock uncomfortable, very small seats and I'm not even a big person, people smell in the bus, bus terminals look like homeless shelters, if you travel overnight don't expect to sleep at all, bus drivers like to make you suffer freezing to death putting the air conditioning max cold inside the bus and also terminals are crazy cold (50-60 degrees ), they force you to wait inside the terminal for your next bus, unless your a smoker you can be outside were its nice. Wifi is a joke being extremely slow ,impossible to watch youtube videos, sometimes it won't even work at all. Expect to be around some crazy folks , they usually sit in the back.
