We attended two concerts here within one week. Both were good shows that we enjoyed, linda rondstat experience and Samantha fish. The seats were good , and was the sound however I thought it was a bit loud. The manager introduced the show and listed the upcoming performances, which included some good performers this would come back to see. Tickets were reasonable priced. Surprised that not all seats were sold

Serving as the center for entertainment in downtown, the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre is a state-of-the-art facility large enough for first run Broadway shows, yet intimate enough with 1,800 seats to view a wide variety of concerts, opera, comedy, dance and children's shows. The center is downtown Montgomery and easy to locate. We are visiting from Kentucky and came to see the show here for our visit. We then looked up the list of events coming in the future and we're really impressed with the line-up of talent that will be performed here in the future. The citizens of this town are lucky to have access to such a fine venue. The seats we're comfortable and our view was good for the event we were attending. We really enjoyed the show and the venue was really nice.

First time we have been to this venue, living in Birmingham we rarely get a chance to come to Montgomery. The theater is very nicely set up and the acoustics are pretty good. Our seats were really nice as we didn't have anyone in front of us. The leg room was nice and comfortable, it was very easy to find our seats and if you did need help they had plenty of staff to assist you. The General manager came on stage at first to let us all know what shows were coming this summer. Really funny and nice guy, very informative and you could tell he really loves this theater. Now on to the main show, we came down to see Styx! It has been a very long time since I have heard them live, they never disappoint. The sound was great about 98% of the time, how ever there were a few bass hits that could have been EQ'd better as they sounded distorted. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back... just for a Saturday show though lol. If you have not been here yet I would say treat yourself to a great venue for what ever show you see.

First thing that stands out about this location is there isn't anything flashy about it. It's not like the old theaters (Alabama Theater) it's just not impressive. Now that being said, this place has some of the best acoustics that we've ever heard anywhere. Granted it can always have something to do with who is performing, but the sound quality was amazing. Pretty much all seats in the house have a good view of the stage. If you aren't very tall you may want to skip the first row in the Loge seating ... the wall is a little high, we were just fortunate that they didn't go near the front of the stage or we would have had to have leaned forward to see everything. Prices at the concession stand weren't too bad and the staff was friendly. 2 sodas and a couple popcorns and it was a little over $10. Entrance my vary depending on who is performing and what requirements they have. We had to show vaccine cards or negative covid test within 48 hours of the event along with ID and a quick temperature check. Total time to do this was less than a minute. Like I said, not flashy, but a really good place to see a live performance. We would recommend.

Entry screening was efficient and well staffed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked the layout. Drawbacks were: seating was very cramped and uncomfortable. Acoustic's was very poor. Echo was very bad and the volume so loud the lyrics were indiscernible. The concert and Joe Bonamassa was awesome, however for the money, the venue was not worth it. I spent 100.00 a ticket for balcony seating, for not a very big place, (1800 seats), and it was not worth it..

I have been here several times and it always is a good time. Come early to get a good parking spot and bring a jacket as they like to keep the place cool.

Very nice venue.. not really a bad seat in the house. Friendly and helpful staff from the box office to the ushers. Adequate parking available. Conveniently located near other downtown restaurants and attractions.
