Today, I ordered from here for the first time, and I’m a long time resident. I LOVE spicy food, but in general I like the cuisines of many different cultures, and am willing to try new things.

Other than being kindly greeted upon entry, the wait wasn’t long at all, and the price was fair.

When I got home and tried my yellow chicken curry…I just about danced with joy like I was a little boy again. Not an exaggeration. It had just the right amount of spice, coconut subtlety, and consistency with the added potatoes.

I will now become a regular as I try the other items they offer on their menu.

Alaska Taste of Thai had a great selection of items in the menu which consisted of curries, fried rice, soups and thai specialities. You can customize the proteins in most of the dishes by your choice. We found many vegetarian items which was helpful. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by their smile and warmth. They had a great selection of wine and beer in the menu including the famous Thai Singha beer. The fried tofu appetizer that came with the tasty peanut sauce was awesome. For our kids, we ordered the pineapple fried rice. The adults in our group went with yellow and green curry. Most items can be tuned to your spicy level. We were also provided with an array of spicy sauces and powder to help ourselves. The restaurant had a great ambience which made us felt being in Thailand. There is plenty of parking before the restaurant. They are very welcoming in their service. Throughout the time, they kept checking on us to help with anything we needed. Overall, this is the best of Thai restaurants in Anchorage.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant about a dozen times in past couple of years. The food and service have been excellent without exception. We usually get the same thing (Pad Thai, Spicy Red Curry, and some Thai egg rolls); now they just ask if we want our usual - no order needed!

Great place to dine in, has a nice atmosphere. I also love to get their food to go. It’s always fresh and hot. Has the best cashew nut in town hands down. Veggies and nuts and chicken in a perfect sauce over a bed of rice. Chefs kiss.

Ordered shrimp rolls as an appetizer. Rolls were crispy. For main dishes ordered green curry dinner portion w/shrimp, pad Thai lunch special and spicy noodle dinner portion with chicken.
Flavor of the spicy noodle was fine, but the portion was more like that of the lunch special yet cost 2 dollars more. Pad Thai lunch special came with egg roll and soup. Soup flavor was boring. In both cases there were noodles, but skimpy on the veggies and chicken that were supposed to be in it.

Green curry, main flavor came from the heat. It lists bell pepper, eggplant and bamboo shoots as the veggies with the protein of choice. Paid 23.00 for this dish. Got lots of bamboo shoots, 5 shrimp (nicely cooked), 2 slices of bell pepper and 5 tiny paper thin slices of Japanese eggplant. There was so few scraps of eggplant that if I hadn’t been looking for them I would have missed them completely. Total bill was 82.00,

Smaka på Thai i Anchorage hade ett stort urval av vegetariska alternativ i menyn som bestod av curryrätter, stekt ris, soppor och thailändska specialiteter. Det var en huvudsakligen nudlar. De kryddiga nudlarna med skaldjur tycktes vara en vinnare men. Anständig mängd räkor och andra skaldjur med större plattnudlar.

Jag beställde kyckling pad thai, med en tre-stjärniga värme nivå. Det såg bra när det kom hit, så jag undangömdt. Inom några tuggor mina läppar var bränna. Jag var tvungen att gå hitta servitrisen, och bad om ett glas mjölk. De såg inte bara inte ha några mjölk de var villiga att ge mig, den vänder fram till orsaken mina läppar var brinnande var eftersom servitrisen glömde att berätta för mig att röra min maträtt innan vi skulle äta det. Man rökte uppenbarligen lägg till den heta grejer på toppen av den mat som det går ut och det är meningen att få omrörd i. Jag var så mycket obehag jag kunde inte äta något mer. Jag har ätit här 5 gånger nu och jag har ännu inte äta en måltid som inte var var bra. Du kan be om din mat lika kryddiga som du vill även om det kan min show den på menyn som kryddiga eller den andra vägen runt.
Exteriören är typiska remsa med köpcentra utseende, men den inre delen är vackert inrett i Thai konstverk. Massor av uppmärksamhet på detaljer i alla aspekter.

Vi har varit på en hel del thailändska/ asiatiska restauranger runt Anchorage och detta är vår favorit. Mycket bra mat och service är alltid bra.

Det verkar bara ha en servitris och en kock från vad jag själv och vänner har sett. Jag åt här två gånger på ett kort besök i staden.

Menyn är ganska standard thailändska urval, men är mycket smakrikt och mycket prisvärt. Varje måltid med soppa och en rulle.

Första gången till den lokala anläggning, och tyckte att maten och servicen var mycket bra. Kommer att åka tillbaka en annan gång med min bättre hälften som hon är kocken i familjen, och det kommer att ge mig en mer noggrann granskning! Detta var en mycket bra thailändska, men inte den bästa jag har haft. Hatar att vara en thailändsk snobb, men de behöver lite arbete för att få till utmärkt. Det fanns ett överskott av lök i den thailändska basil maträtt och stekt ris med ananas var mycket medelmåttig.

Tang och Pam, servitriser, bär alltid matchande thailändska klänningar, talade thailändska och engelska, och har alltid ett leende på läpparna. Thailändsk musik spelar lugnt och maten serveras i en rimlig tid. Och det är värt att vänta eftersom det är beredd färska. De har plats för hur kryddiga du vill ha något eller om du vill ha något extra. Vi beställer kyckling Enköping för ett gemensamt förrätt och klibbigt ris och mango för ett gemensamt öknen. Med en soptipp, det kommer att vara 50 spänn för paret. Men du kan inte säga att maten var "ok." Du kommer att säga att det var en fantastisk dag med fantastiska människor och mat.

Vi har ätit Tai från hela Alaska och den nedre 48 stater och detta är några av de bästa någonsin. Och priserna är mycket rimliga också.

Kyckling Larb är fantastisk!!! Jag hade också färskt bröd. Jag skulle föredra en jordnötssås, men den söta såsen var ok när jag värmer upp den lite. Bra ställe, och jag kommer att komma tillbaka. Kanske imorgon!

Jag tyckte att maten var bra och servicen ganska snabbt trots att det bara fanns en server och ett par stora fester. Jag njöt av kyckling pannang speciell lunch och det hade ägg bullar och soppa som var riktigt god. För det klibbiga riset med mango det är jättegott!
