I have been going to Lucky Wishbone since I moved here in 1985. I like it so much that I had to bring a visitor that I had up from Florida into try the onion rings and chicken. He agreed it was really good. But I went in there on November 11, 2024 with my son to treat him to lunch. I have never been so dissatisfied with my chicken (Pop) and the onion rings. They were extremely overcooked. The chicken wasn’t even juicy.  So I paid over $31 for lunch that I took home because I couldn’t eat it. Gave it to my husband and he also thought it was terrible. I have waited on tables in my lifetime. But I never would’ve served this to my customer, knowing that it was overcooked. so to my waitress I say shame on you. And to the cook, shame on you.

The chicken burger was really good.

Was really looking forward to this as I’d heard so much about it, but sad to say, it was underwhelming at best. Absolutely flavorless, and portion sizes were pathetic, for the money! $15 for a chicken sandwich (no sides included), and $7 for onion rings. Won’t be going back, unfortunately.

Min första ledtråd borde ha varit det faktum att klockan var 12.00 och att det inte fanns någon annan i kön. Min andra ledtråd borde ha varit att det inte längre fanns någon menytavla utanför. Efter att ha varit i Anchorage ett par dagar för arbete flera personer nämnde Lucky Wishbone som sin favorit "dyk" restaurang. Vad kan man säga. Det är ett gott gammalt landslagsmat med utsökt stekt kyckling, bra hamburgare och överlägsen personal som behandlar dig bra. Större grupper som 6 - 10 är välkomna. Delar är helt rätt. När den ursprungliga ägaren dog lämnade han det till några arbetare och de överträffade hans hemtrevliga stil. Det är en klosterplats precis utanför Glenn Highway. Prova en av deras milkshakes eller desserter.

Fantastisk stekt kyckling. Mycket rimliga och trevliga delar. Mycket vänlig och bra service. Deras packade parkeringsplats är ett tecken på deras beskydd.

Vi hade varm stekt kyckling serveras snabbt! Mjölkshake kommer i varje smak som du kan tänka dig och är full av utsökt frukt. Tjänsten är snabb. De har en sådan omsättning av gäster men du rusar aldrig. Vi var där under rusningstid vid middagstid.
