The food is good, but this waitress is the worst, this place was a lot better without her. Also when you do order, watch your charges, and keep the receipt.

I used to eat here frequently in the 1980s. Much to my surprise and pleasure Northern China Restaurant is still operating with its classic recipe delights - and it’s just as good. Affordable price points; diverse Chinese-centric menu; attentive staff; clean and comfortable atmosphere.Delicious and well-worth lunch, dinner, or take-out. And the photos don’t do the taste justice. You won’t be disappointed.

This little place is ran by what seems to be a wonderful family. The lady who sat us was extremely friendly, and genuinely seemed to care. The food was very fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. The soup that came with my husband's meal was amazing too, full of cabbage and zucchini. I will definitely eat here again.

This was the worst food my family has ever eaten.
Everything was either overcooked, almost burnt, tasteless or too oily. The fried rice was hard and no flavor, sesame chicken was so dry a fork wouldn't go in, and way too sweet. The hot and sour soup tasted like sour chicken broth, wasn't hot (flavor) and the veggies had no flavor. . The crab wontons had no discernable crab and were just shy of burnt and too hard to eat, the tempura shrimp were very oily, the chicken chow main was soggy and the flavorless.
The steamed dumplings egg rolls and white rice were good enough to earn the one star rating.
It was not worth the time it to took to order and pick up let alone eat.
Not worth the cost at all!
And we were charged more for everything than was indicated on the online menu.
Never going back.

I am coming from Virginia and this place has better quality food than anywhere where I'm from. I'd love to suggest this place to anyone local or traveling to Anchorage, very tasty and had all the elements in texture and all. 12 out of 10 stars.

Första gången och mycket besviken. Beställde moo goo gai pan, moo shoo fläsk och Szechuan kyckling. Alla dålig kvalitet. SSSSaSzechuan

Ägaren var mycket oförskämd! Hon gav oss vita ris med smaklös över tillagat kött och kallat det "stekt ris".  Vi frågade om de kunde recook eller återbetalar det och fick veta om vi inte gillar det, låt inte komma tillbaka. Detta definitivt verkat vara omöjliga att karaktär för dem med hänsyn till andra positiva omdömen om här. Förhoppningsvis kommer detta har ingenting att göra med oss som African American.

Populära sevärdheter asiatisk restaurang och vårt första besök här. Servitrisen var så trevliga och föreslog föremål från menyn som skulle göra vår måltid ännu mer minnesvärd -- och hon hade rätt! Allt var rent, tyst och bekvämt. Maten var varm och underbart dukades fram "familjestuk" i mitten av tabellen. Vi erbjöds mer ris och vatten under hela vår à la carte och kände mig välbesökta till. Maten var ganska god. Verkligen glad att ha hittat denna lokal pärla.

Har försökt olika kinesiska och leverans av långt det här är det bästa jag har smakat på en lång tid. Maten kom i tid uppgav de skulle det, den som tar order var mycket trevlig, till skillnad från att beställa från många av pizza fogar i anchorage. Maten kom och föraren var mycket tillmötesgående, maten väl säkrade, rykande het och utsökt. Allt kom precis när vi hade beställt det. Priser är rättvisa jämfört med överallt, ännu bättre med tanke på hur utsökt och proportionerlig maten var. Jag kommer att fortsätta att beställa från dessa killar i framtiden ....

Detta är det enda ställe jag kommer äta kinesisk mat. Jag kommer att köra över staden till denna plats om jag behöver. Jag får sechwan kyckling och mongoliska nötkött kombinationsruta. Det är alltid färskt. Aldrig har vänta länge för livsmedel. Personalen är mycket vänlig. Och ägg rullarna är min favorit. Jag är mycket picky när det gäller mat, men detta är en av mina favoritplatser att äta:)

Bor i öst Anchorage, det finns inte en ton av alternativ för kinesiska, särskilt anständigt takeout. Besökte de 2 andra om Muldoon väg och ett om Bonifatius, alltid haft stora reklamationer. Inte med norra Kina. De har alltid varit mycket vänliga och maten är ganska bra. Det är inte vad du förväntar dig om du används till normala "American Style" kinesiska i... inte super söta såser. Broccoli kokt kyckling har alltid varit bra, andra rätter har varit bra att okej, men aldrig dåligt. Priserna är vad som kan förväntas för Anchorage, inte bargain källare, men bryts inte banken. Jag har varit bättre platser i min tid, men känner sig inte som driver 20 minuter på andra sidan av staden bara för kinesiska. Norra Kina passar bara fina för nära, bill lokala kinesiska.
