The best sushi I’ve ever had in my life.  The service is outstanding.   The oysters were so good we had two orders of them.   The 911 roll was perfect.  The scallop sashimi fresh.  It was a treat taking my husband after years of hearing about it.  He said it was the best sushi he ever had also.

First time eating at this location. Sushi was good (although admittedly I don't have the highest standards), the ambiance was good and different (except the numerous televisions showing CBS for no reason. Date night doesn't need Big Bang and NCIS with no sound in all directions, minus one star), and the wine was filled to very very brim. The ceviche roll was interesting fusion, can recommend, we liked the lemon sliver on every bite.

Very pricey for small portion of meal. We ordered two hot tea, one Coke small sashimi and beef ribs excluded tip $116. But they have great quality of food and service. No doubt.

Stopped by for an early dinner while visiting Anchorage.  There were plenty of tables, so was seated right away.  Server immediately came over with water and menus.  He did a great job throughout the meal as was very polite, prompt, and hepful.
While looking over the menu, started off with the Tempura Platter and Squid Salad.  Both arrived within 10 minutes and were very good.  The tempura was fried perfectly with a nice crisp on the outside, but not overcooked on the inside.  The squid salad was pretty impressive too with nice chunks of squid with other veggies.

For the meal, ordered a few of the sushi combinations.  These were a little higher priced than most similar sushi restaurants, but was worth the price.  All of them had larger than normal slices of sushi that were cut thick too.  The fish was very fresh and of good quality.  Each was also well presented.

My 5 year old daughter and I shared the orange chicken and rice plate and we both have been extremely sick the past two days with food poisoning. I’m so thankful my one year-old refused to eat the food. Chicken was super dry and gross. Will never go back.

Gammalt läge på 34th och gamla Seward brukade vara en go - att upptäcka för min familj. Alltid haft en fantastisk upplevelse, bra mat, bra pris. Nu har de ett nyare läge på International och på något sätt gick priserna upp något och portionsstorleken minskade dramatiskt. Tänk dig att bli van att sushi runt storleken på en golfboll, sedan få serverad en rad tuggummin... som vanligt jag kämpar för att passa en bit i munnen... inte den här gången. Jag vet inte om det var en specifik kock, men att kunna märka en skillnad som exponentiell är lite av en besvikelse.

Jag brukade komma hit ett gäng och älskade det så jag fick en att gå Bento och var verkligen besviken, grönsaker och fartyg tempura var under kokt, grönsakerna var hårda och knapriga och och smeten var mjuk och inte helt kokt. Jag saknade också både sojasåsen och teriyakidippsåsen. Denna måltid brukade också komma med en sallad och jag är inte säker på om den glömdes bort eller tagits bort från bento som har gått upp i piké. Den grillade teriyakibiffen var bara ok, kändes och smakade för ångad sedan grillad. Sammantaget besviken på måltiden. Jag skulle inte gå tillbaka igen efter detta.

Hemsk service. Sushin var okej men den kryddiga skaldjur misosoppan var intetsägande och tråkig. Salladen hade en fruktig dressing - inte den vanliga miso dressingen. Jag rekommenderar inte

Servicen var mycket bra. Allt kom ut snabbt. Men räkorna och makrillen på Nigri var så överkokta att de var gummi. De wasabi serveras med Nigiri hade ingen bit eller värme till det. Servitrisen tog oss ut några som var förpackade för att gå, vilket var mycket bättre. Resten av vår beställning smakade intetsägande och fisken smakade inte färskt. Softshellkrabban i spindelrullen var överstekt. Det var nästan svart det hade legat i smörjan så länge. Jag var mycket oimponerad av denna restaurang totalt sett.

Mycket till lunch

Vi kom till denna plats eftersom det är nummer 1 sushirestaurang i Tripadvisor. Det var ett bra val: fisken var färsk och tjänsten var uppmärksam. Andra lunchen var med kött och kändes som att ha för mycket sojasås. Totalt sett kommer vi tillbaka!

Jag gick på Sushi och Sushi. Det finns platser i det som såg ut som ett övergivet remsgalleria. När du går in i dörren är det en helt annan värld. Jag satt omedelbart och fick ödem. Därefter tog den söta servitören (Matt) min dryckesorder och tappade av soppa och sallad. Jag placerade min beställning handrullen kom på mindre än 5 minuter. 10 minuter senare min lunch med sushi och sashimi. Skaldjur var färsk och läcker. Jag skulle helt rekommendera denna anläggning i Anchorage

Utsidan är typ av en öde ser strip mall så blev verkligen förvånade när vi promenerade inuti till ett packat hus och en väldigt cool atmosfär. Innan vi ens beställde fick vi soppa och sallad som jag tyckte var en fin touch. Det är en mycket hip, välkomnande restaurang med utsökt, färsk mat. Jag hade en fantastisk skaldjurssoppa med udonnudlar som vår servitör rekommenderade och min make hade sushi. Vi hade mycket roligt här!

Mycket besviken, brukade vara en frekvent kund men kommer att ta mitt framtida företag på andra håll. Går till Sushi Ya precis runt hörnet där de faktiskt uppskattar sina kunder, har bättre priser och god mat. Vi ringde in en order att gå och fick höra att den skulle vara klar på 35 minuter så vi kom fram till den tiden. Platsen var upptagen så vi var tålmodiga vid ingången som var överfyllda av människor besvärligt stående alla pressade in i ett litet utrymme och väntade på att bli sittande. Ingen organisation alls, bara gratis för alla. Såg inte en värd eller värdinna på länge. Såg inte någon typ av system för att checka in. Försökte fråga bartendern eller annan personal var vi går för att hämta för att beställa. Svaren var en kombination av axlar på axlarna eller helt enkelt bli ignorerade när de gick förbi oss. Slutligen kunde vi avlyssna en värd som frågade vilket namn beställningen låg under, han tog fart men ALDRIG kretsade tillbaka till oss. Vi märkte att alla som kom in behandlades som en irritation. Vi försökte vara tålamod eftersom de var upptagna men det som verkligen fick oss var bristen på någon form av kundservice, oförskämd och avvisande svar. Efter mer än en HOUR plus sedan vi placerade vårt samtal i ordning och väl över 30 minuter stående i den främre ingången på ett klibbigt golv, fick ignoreras bad vi om våra pengar tillbaka. Först då fick de ut vår beställning, inga ursäkter och när vi bad att prata med ägaren eller chefen eller för deras nummer fick vi höra att de inte var där och de hade ingen kontaktinformation för oss. Värden var defensiv och sa att det inte är hans fel att vem som tar telefonorder inte kan räkna ut rätt tid för kunder att komma in och hämta maten. Inget som att kasta dina kollegor under bussen. Han sa att det redan fanns 3 olika kunder på samma kväll som kom in inför oss med liknande klagomål, alla upprörda eftersom deras beställningar var så långsamma. De (alla vi mötte) agerade irriterade och stressade. När han gick ut genom dörren sade värden (hög, mager, ung flamboyant kille) i en hålande ton mot ryggen, "ha en trevlig dag". Det var tydligt sarkastiskt och det sista halmen, vi kommer inte tillbaka. Åh, och vem är den anställde med den ramen T-shirt som bokstavligen stod framför registret på sin mobiltelefon (sms? Facebook?) Den HELA tiden vi var där, aldrig gick in för att hjälpa någon. Mat är anständigt men det är inte värt att förvärra eller patetisk brist på kundservice.

Det tog så lång tid att bli serverad.
Atmosfären var för mörk. Visst inte som en traditionell japansk restaurang.
Men Chirashi var utmärkt. Fiskskäret var tjockt och friskt.

Jag är ingen expert på Anchorage sushi scenen, men jag har provat tillräckligt under årtiondena för att veta att baren har stigit stadigt under de senaste åren. Jag besökte staden nyligen bara kort och sökte en ny restaurang att försöka. Sushi skulle fylla räkningen, så jag rådde Trip Advisor, förstås. Jag råkade vara några kvarter bort, och inom några minuter parkerades jag framför ett otrevligt band galleri - typ byggnad undrar vad jag skulle hitta inuti.

Jag var bortblåst av det massiva interiören, som har en väldigt modern, asiatisk tema design, en stor bar och många, många bord under jazzy atmosfär som kommer från högtalarna. Det mörka träet, kakel och tyg med ljus fokuserade på borden ger dig en illusion av värme och integritet. Jag hittade stämningen mycket välkomnande, och till och med elegant, medan personalen gick till mig snabbt. Jag noterade de andra tabellerna var mestadels familj och vänner chattar, skrattar och brukar njuta av sig själva. Jag poked mitt huvud i ett av de privata rummen, vilket skulle vara perfekt för en fest. Disken som strömmade ut presenterades vackert. Edamame hälsar dig vid bordet. Inom fem minuter var jag redo att beställa.

Förutom sushi finns ett antal andra kök tillgängliga. Koreanska grillade revben (Kalbi), Hawaiian Poke, och till och med en fusion Cajun Tuna Sashimi ($ 17) lägger mer variation i dina möjligheter. Den Bento ($ 21) funktioner teriyaki, tonfisk sushi, tempura och Kalifornien rulle. Jag såg en, och det var överflödig med godhet. Om kött inte är din sak, kommer veggiehandrullar i flera versioner, med eller utan tofu.

Jag blev frestad av chirashi, som är sashimi över ris och en blandad kryddig poki ($ 20). (Poke är en "sak" i Anchorage nu.) Då påminde jag mig om att jag skulle komma för att jämföra sushi. Jag beställde sushi lunchen ($ 22) med sju rikliga bitar av sushi och en härlig Kalifornien rulle. Miso här är annorlunda än i 99. 5% andra amerikanska företag som jag har haft det. Det smakar friskt och välbalanserat för en smidig övergång till huvudevenemanget. Salladsdressingen på den skarpa sallad som åtföljer miso hade en mycket liten sötma men annars hade inga tydliga smaker som jag kunde upptäcka.

Min sushi lunch presenterades gorgeously på cirka 15 minuter. Smakerna var färskt, och även plattan verkade glöda som färgerna kom bara ihop. Synet var så aptitretande. Jag tog min tid och njöt av det. Jag hade gott om tid att observera publiken och servitören, som är uppmärksam men inte påträngande. Jag kunde slappna av och komma ikapp med mina tankar. Hela paketet kom bara ihop, och jag hade en underbar lunch.

Som en solo diner passerade bara, jag var så frustrerad att bara skrapa menyn en gång. En fest med delning skulle vara den perfekta upplevelsen. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka. Jag önskar dessa folk bra.

Det är inte en gång jag har ätit här och varit besviken. Vi har gjort denna plats den månatliga familjen träffas. Storleken på sushi roller är galen stor. Fantastisk service.

En av de bättre Anchorage Sushi restaurangerna överlägset. Kan vara värd för privata evenemang i deras tvåpartysalar. Våra favoriter inkluderar "Heart Attack" aptitretare samt "King Kong" och "Serious Jamie" rullar. Sedan slutar med stekt Oreos är tillräckligt för att få någon fett barn att hoppa över och komma tillbaka för mer.
