I have to admit that I was a little shocked when they requested a 100% deposit ($4500) 10 months in advance. but, I called them up about 1 week ahead of the two tours we booked, Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks and they were right on top of it. They called me back a day in advance to review arrival times, the itinerary, and what we needed for clothes, food, etc. We arrived a little early and offered coffee or spring water and a very comfortable seating area after we checked in. Our first day we were flown in a 10 seater for about 2 hours to a village called King Salmon, I believe where we were transferred to a 10 seater pontoon boat that flew us to the Brooks area of Katmai. it was a spectacular day of watching the bears feeding off the salmon at the falls. After spending much of the day exploring the park and taking a cultural tour we were flown back to Anchorage. The pilot was extremely knowledgeable of the history, geology, and geography of the flight and made a deviation to circle the volcano crater of Mt Spur. The next we arrived again and then escorted to another building where we watched a film on bear safety and then fitted with water proof boots for walking thru the waters to view the bears. we were flown in a smaller 6 seater plane (just 5 passenger) to Katmai NP where we watched bears digging for clams in several locations. A most excellent lunch box with our choice of a sandwich, granola bar, assorted chips, apple, and a tasty pasta salad and beverage was provided. At the end of our tour, we were flown back to Anchorage. The staff including Anna-Lynn, both pilots, Dan & Abel were all super customer service oriented (something sorely missed to frequently these days). I obviously can't say enough positives about this operation.

We flew with Troy at Regal Air and had an awesome flight. We saw the most gorgeous scenery and the flight was smooth and enjoyable. Troy was a great pilot and guide and took us to beautiful places that you can't see any other way. We would definitely do this again.

Today we found out our flight leaving King Salmon to Anchorage was canceled and we booked a flight using Regal Air for 3600 for the 5 of us. The pilot was precessional and the departure experience and flight experience without a problem. When we arrived, Tony( not sure if he was the owner) open the rear exit hatch and motioned for me to exit. As I got through the planes door, the exit hatch came down and hit me on the head. He did not say anything or apologize. Initially when he was unloading the bags, I did not see mine and when I asked him about it he asked if I brought the bag with me. Kind or rude I thought. While waiting in the office paying the bill for the flight, he turned off the lights before we left. Also he said that he something to the effect that he would charge people with bad attitudes more for a flight. My suggestion is to be courteous and nice to customers.. Also, while we were in the office paying, he seemed in a hurry and turned

Fantastic trip from start to finish! Rye was an excellent pilot and guide. He was so informative about what we saw from both the air and land. We were able to see plenty of bears at Lake Clark National park and even had one pass our group about 15 feet away. The trip was worth every penny. Helly, who works at Regal air, helped prep the plane and came with our group. She was a wealth of knowledge to. Highly recommend Regal Air and couldn't have asked for a better tour!

The pilots were great but the owner is very rude and unprofessional. The reason for the one star is because of a safety issue the owner wanted to ignore, as we were getting ready to fly out to a lodge south of Anchorage. Loaded and ready to head out, the pilot noticed that we had no oil pressure so we were ask to unload and wait while they looked into the issue. This was fine by us as safety comes first. So we were directed to an office which happened to be the owners. Upon our arrival no greeting except a look up from paperwork, ok fine I can live with that but what happened next was totally unacceptable in any business. Tim the owner got up from his desk went out the door and jumped into the plane and started the engine and proceeded moving it back and forth revving the engine again great find the problem. Then he jumped out and yelled at the pilot that it was marginal (meaning the oil pressure) and stated it was fine to fly. The pilot was not wanting to go because of this issue and I was totally surprised by the owners behavior. He was putting us and his pilot at risk. I happen to work as a RN and if one of our team is uncomfortable with what is happening with a patient and their safety we stop and review/educate with the group, everyone must be comfortable with the care. It's all about safety and trusting the people that have your life in their hands. Which by Tim's behavior I felt it didn't matter to him. Well they ended up getting another plane and pilot the flight was fine. All I can say is thanks to both pilots for their professional behavior and concern. So sorry that the people working under him are treated in this manner and that we had to witness it. Memoriee

Had a fantastic trip, and got to see many fantastic views of the mountains and saw mt spurr on my trip to AK, would recommend to anyone

Our experience with Regal was stellar! We were with another couple that we didn't know, but all of the passengers were used to small airplanes, so no issues there. Our pilot, Kip, was stellar. He pointed out things and gave the background, but it wasn't like a "performance." And he's a great pilot! Landed in the beach, saw bears and took pictures near the river. Back to the beach for a perfect lunch. Flew off and wandered around in the air looking at waterfalls, inlets and more bears. Absolutely the best. Recommend them highly! We came back happy, full and with a camera full of bear pictures. Couldn't ask for more.
