The first time we went the food was amazing. The food in general is pretty good to be honest. We did takeout this time and noted no shrimp. I'm deathly allergic to it. When I got the order, there was shrimp in it. Someone needs to quality control what comes out of the kitchen because it could kill someone.

This is their version of fried rice. No eggs, no veggies… and charged me an additional $2. The food is solid to be Chinese food in AZ, but very over priced. I come for pick up and the staff is unfriendly if they are busy. Egg rolls are made either chicken instead of pork, so that is a plus, but they are also super greasy.

This was our first visit, and it was absolutely amazing! Food flavors were spot on! Food served hot and prompt. Great service. Reasonably priced.

First time eating at Wild Ginger Asian Bistro. Overall, I enjoyed the food. But, there were egg shells in the fried rice, and they weren't small.  I had the Curry Chicken. The flavor was good, but I would have preferred that it would have been made with coconut milk.  We also had the Chicken Low Mein.  It was  bland and could have used something to give it more flavor. The Crab Rangoon was really good. I like the way they were folded, and the filling was good.

I'm sure it was a matter of staffing, our waitress was busy, but the first entree came out almost 10 minutes before the last (of four), and we had to ask for the rice a while after we were served our entrées.

Wild Ginger Asian Bistro is located in an aesthetically pleasing strip mall in Gilbert and the decor inside is simple but clean. It felt a little dark inside, but low lighting obviously doesn’t impact your food at all!

Our server was exceptionally kind and patient with our daughter that came with us. She brought out her fried rice ahead of our mains to help manage our busy toddler. That was greatly appreciated and thoughtful.

We ordered the egg rolls which are HUGE. I mean absolutely massive and thick, which made it difficult to really enjoy the crispy shell. The flavor of these was good, but the ratio of filling to shell is off due to the size of them.

Chicken lo mein was about what I expected but not as tasty as I secretly hoped it would be. The noodles were well cooked as were the veggies, but it was more oily than flavorful. It left me a little disappointed. The shrimp pad thai had a sweeter flavor and wasn’t very spicy which was surprising.

All in all, this was a decent place to dine it. I don’t know that I’d drive out of the way to eat there again, but I can see this place being a local go to for quick Asian cuisine.
