Some of these reviews had me pretty leery, but I’m for an underdog and even more for local so I took my chances. I was already on the area with one of my kids supporting another spot nearby and decided to search for a pizza by the slice spot and hoped I could find one nearby because pizza is a fave in our house. We had parked nearby so we decided to walk over when we saw this was close to where we were. The front door of Pizza Roma faces Glendale, but there street parking nearby as well as a parking garage and lots behind the location of you walk up the alley way behind them. Other reviews stated the service was less than stellar, but the moment we opened the door we were greeted, my questions answered and I was able to order a two slice pepperoni combo and a drink, added a second drink, plus six hot wings. The employee asked if I was ok with waiting about ten or so minutes for the wings since they would take about that long. Of course we were fine with that. We were given drinks and decided to take advantage of the nice weather on the patio. There is a good amount of seating inside, but a bit dark and definitely needs updates. This is located in Old Town Glendale so you’ll see that a lot around this area. I didn’t inspect the inside a lot or the restrooms so I can’t speak on that. The outside patio is nice, quite a few tables and a mural to enjoy. The sun does come in a bit, but there’s also a good amount of shade because it sits between two buildings. Our pizza slices came out pretty quick. First impression was I could tell the crust was crispy which I like, slices large, good amount of toppings, but insanely greasy. That is not a deal breaker for me as you can dab off the grease etc. we topped with some red peppers and dug in. First bite was hot, crispy and I pretty good flavor. I enjoyed it. I don’t typically order by the slice at many places because it tends to be dry and you usually see it sitting under heat lamps. Not here though. I’d eat it again. Our wings came out around the estimated time and weren’t overly sauced and pretty good size. They were pretty hot seasoning wise like we’d asked, but not unbearable. For the price of it all I’d definitely eat it again. Again I can’t attest to bad service, what the restrooms looked like or inside seating. Our experience here was great.

We visit this pizza place any time we're in old town Glendale and it's excellent every time! We always get a pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. We like to sit outside in the winter and order extra pizza to take home. I definitely recommend it!

The pizza and wings were unfortunately salty. I don't think I've ever had salty pizza and wings until this time. Hope it was a one time incident in the kitchen. The floors were so sticky, it was annoying to walk in here. The location is super nice with great outside tables. The staff was friendly. Wish the food was better and the place was cleaner. The decor inside was nice to look at.

Edit: I'm back to give from 3 to 4 stars. Today I went and the pizza and wings were great. Last time must have been an off day. We came just before enjoying Glendale glitters. Our fam of 6 finished two orders of pizza and 10 wings. The server is super friendly and nice. The floor is not sticky today. It's definitely better. Thank you.

Pizza is good different than other big chains. Inside seating is clean also they have lemonade and unsweetened ice tea as options for drinks! Bottom less Arnold Palmers

My 11 year old daughter picked this restaurant to eat for her birthday while strolling Downtown Glendale.  I'm glad she did, they were attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The pizza was great, crispy & fluffy crust. Chicken wings were crispy & flavorful. Nice side salad and mozzarella sticks were on point. SUPPORT LOCAL businesses, you never know what your missing out on.
