I have been coming here since 1997. This is one of my top 5 favorite pizzas. The 14 inch traditional crust Skinny with jalapeños. The consistency over the years has been amazing. This pie is so damn delicious. It gets better the next day. Service is always spectacular. I have never had a bad experience here. I definitely recommend this spot.

We ordered the pepperoni pizza and supreme. The pizza had no taste. The garlic bread and marinara were very good so we thought the pizza would be good. Our server was non existent even though there were not many people there. We would like to come back and try something else that isn’t pizza. They do not sell wings.

One of the best pizza places in Mesa.
Pizza is fresh and delicious, salad so good and a lot of options for appetizers.
I really recommend the Hawaiian pizza and the pumpkin beer.
Also excellent service!

Have not been to nellos in a long time. But have been a fan for years. Been to the mesa location and the old Tempe location before they closed. Recently over holidays I took my best friends mother who is from Bronx New York and she loved it! The service is a 10 (our drinks were never empty) I ordered 3 different pizzas and we ate every single slice. The wings, juicy and cooked nice and crispy. I intend to visit more often.

I am a long time fan of Nello’s but the last two visits have been very disappointing. The food is not what it used to be. Two night ago, went in and ordered a pizza and salad. The Margarita pizza had a metallic taste to it and the cheese was almost non existent. The Apple Gorgonzola salad was ok, but the creamy balsamic dressing had the consistency of pudding! It would not even mix into the salad. That dressing is one of my favorite items and it was so disappointing on the recent visit. I took the dressing up to the bar, as our waiter was no where to be found (the place was almost empty at 5:30pm) and explained my concern with the dressing. The gentleman put his elbows on the bar and told me there was nothing he could do; that’s how the recent batches have been turning out. I asked him if he could bring us out a fresh serving of the dressing and he said he couldn’t because it was all the same. Nello’s has been our go to place for pizza and salad for years, but I am not sure if we will go back as the quality seems to have gone downhill and the employees don’t seem concerned at all.
