This is a great italian restaurant.  Really great.   It is crowded, loud, and the tables are crowded as close to each other as possible - maybe even more so!  Recipes went after complex flavors - savory and sweet - and nailed them.  The arugula salad with pear, toasted almonds was exceptional.  Light, but almost no "bitterness" from the arugula without being too sweet.  We also had the short rib ravioli, and the butternut squash ravioli.   Both were really good, but the squash ravioli was best.  Savory with sage, but sweet and rich without being overwhelmingly so.  Really, really good.  Even the iced tea was incredible.
Finally, we got a reservation on a saturday night, at 4:00 for 7:00.  Very crowded and we sat on the patio.  Only reason atmosphere was a 4 was the chairs were really hard.  But honestly, not too important.  Oh... wit salad, 2 meals, iced tea, and a desert (Tiramisu) bill was $70.00 (before tip).  WHAT??!?   Really reasonable pricing and still exceptional food?  Definitely go to this place - you will go back!

For the past three years, Fabio on Fire has been my go-to destination for authentic Italian cuisine in Peoria. Known for its inviting ambiance and elevated dining experience, it's a place that inspires patrons to dress up and savor each moment.

While I’ve noticed a slight dip in the quality of their pizzas—primarily with a reduced amount of cheese—their flavors remain delicious and true to classic Italian traditions. The pizzas, although slightly different from what I recall in earlier visits, are still prepared with care, offering a delightful combination of crisp crust and fresh toppings.

Service during my most recent visit was prompt, with food arriving swiftly and servers maintaining professionalism throughout the meal. The restaurant's aesthetic is polished, fostering a refined atmosphere that's perfect for special occasions or simply indulging in a well-crafted meal.

However, after several visits, one aspect that stands out is the consistency of the menu. While it’s commendable that they’ve mastered their current offerings, I do wish they would occasionally introduce new dishes or seasonal specials to keep things exciting for loyal patrons like myself.

All in all, Fabio on Fire remains a top recommendation for anyone in Peoria looking for a quintessential Italian dining experience. Just a touch of menu innovation could make this already great restaurant even better.

We had a party of 5 to celebrate my father-in laws birthday.  He loves pizza so we found this place online and thought we would try it out for his birthday dinner.

The atmosphere was excellent, although a few of our party had a hard time hearing each other, but for me it wasn’t that bad.

The pizza was excellent with an amazing crust that they must spend a few days preparing.  The pizza is thin with a crust that has a perfect chew.

We will come back to try some of the other items on the menu.

We've been going here for a couple of good years. Like the pizzas and the pastas. The bread that they serve ahead of food is super addictive! If you want dessert, the Diplomatico is on a different level, give it a try.

Finally found an awesome Italian place that is in our neighborhood area. This is a cute little classy Italian joint that has patio seating. Open kitchen inside with a stone pizza oven and handmade pastas for every dish.

The gelato is also homemade every day with rotating flavors.
If you’re in Peoria, this is a great Italian restaurant that isn’t far and very reasonably priced.
Very calm, polite, and intimate atmosphere.
