11/08/24 :
1st time here and very happy that I chose this place. Came with my next-door neighbors. Several large seating areas and lots of tvs. We arrived at 3:45pm to avoid any Friday-night crowds. Our server gal was excellent ! I would ask that they turn down the music a little so we could better talk.

My neighbors each had an individual pizza which they said was excellent. I had the equivalent of a Philly Cheesesteak. While the server said that the half size was 9", I think it's short of that. But it was very tasty so I was happy. Oh, and their menu is HUGE !!!

Stopped in today 10/14/24 as we haven't been to Uncle Sam's in quite awhile. I ordered the Italian Grinder lunch special $15.75, which includes a 1/4 Grinder (about 6" & stuffed), Crinkle Fries & Soda, & it was so good. Mrs. General ordered the Half Antipasto Salad & said it was great. $10.95 which is a full size at most other restaurants & she couldn't finish it. Our server Ashley did a great job. Love the atmosphere. TV's all over the place. If you're in to Politic's and need to get some paperwork done they have an "Oval Voice". We had a great lunch and a great experience, Thank you Uncle Sam's.

Great service, great location and great food.
We ordered at the counter and got takeout. It took about 15 minutes which was really quick.
I ordered the regular size five topping calzone and it was great. It was huge and was easily enough for two meals. It was cooked perfectly, had a ton of cheese and a ton of toppings and overall was very flavorful.
We also got one of the Fourth of July pizzas and it was loaded with toppings and it was a very good pizza.

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience here. The first booth we were seated at lacked service (no waiter/waitress). The couple at the table next to us suggested we move, as they were not happy with the service (lack of service) they received. And they had been waiting for some time to pay their tab. So, we decided to go back to the front entrance area and get re-seated. Great idea. The waitress who seated us the 2nd time was very attentive and personable. She had our drinks out to us quickly and took our food order in a timely manner. However, another unfortunate... We ordered a Supreme pizza, but we received the meat lovers. Not good, at all. At least our Buffalo style wings were on point. I don't recommend this restaurant, but perhaps they were having an off day. I won't be back.

One of my favorite “diet cheat” places. From Philly. So much like home. Thin yummy pizza, fully loaded cheese steaks on real rolls (not sugary doughy subway rolls).
