I love Desert Jade ! This is my new go to for great Chinese food .. The wait staff is great. And the owner checks on his customers. Very nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices , and great food !

Ordered takeout on a Saturday afternoon. Place was dead maybe 2 tables of people eating a late lunch. Food was done in a timely matter approx 20 mins from ordering. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the expectations and the other reviews I have seen. Ordered egg drop soup to start, it was ok a little flavorless and wish it had a little garnish or something. I also got the Chicken Lettuce Wraps Or Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps and was extremely disappointed. Was very wet and soggy and had a bunch of peas in it. Never have I ever gotten regular green peas in a lettuce wrap. Vegetarian fried rice  was lackluster as well. Had absolutely no flavor and the same dreaded frozen bag of peas and carrots with an overwhelming amount of beansprouts. Overall disappointed and left with a flavorless ( seriously no salt or pepper ??) oily lunch.

The food here is always delicious and doesn't take long to come out after you order. The staff is always very friendly and attentive.

The restaurant is usually not packed and when they do get busy, they space the tables out nicely.

I’ve been going to Desert Jade for 30+ years but had stopped for 3 years because the Quality of the Food and the Flavor had become bad. I picked up take out and got Burnt Shrimp Foo Young then I took it back and got another Lousy tasting Shrimp Foo Young and called the owner and I asked what happened to the cook ? I explained that the food was losing its Quality and she told me “Uf you no like, No come back “ so I stayed away but have tried 3 more times but again it’s bad. I got Shrimp Frued Rice earlier and all I got was little pieces of the end of the tail, they probably didn’t even use a whole Shrimp, Never Again…
