Didn’t get what we paid for. Overly priced. Very unpleasant experience,  we were expecting fresh food on an early day. Ordered a carne asada plate. Glad we didn’t ask for beans, instead opted for salad (which by the way, was good and fresh).
The meat however must have been from the day  before. It tasted as it had been recooked/re sautéed many times. Carne asada was dark dark and “crispy”. Did not get real mexican rice but rather Mediterranean recooked rice. I feel so bad for this restaurant. They can’t seem to get it right. This explains the empty tables and ghost like atmosphere.
Someone, please tell the server/cashier she needs to be more welcoming. She seems disgruntled all the time.

The beef bowl was absolutely delicious and fresh.
Fast, quick service and price was great for the amount of food!
Would use some background music or tvs, but the restaurant was spotless.
Will definitely try again.

Wow, we have eaten at this tasty little restaurant each of the last five days (our kitchen is being remodeled). The hummus that they make fresh each day with their perfectly toasted and chewy pita is the best I've ever eaten (including when we were in Greece). The chicken pita, and chicken shawarma plate are delicious. I can't wait to try more items from their menu. But first ... off to get more hummus!

The restaurant is clean and beautifully situated in the foothills area of Ahwatukee.
I was hungry for a gyro and  thought what better place to try gyro than at a place with gyro in it's name.  I was wrong. I should have known when I saw that the restaurant served everything from pancakes to fish tacos, but I decided to get the gyro anyway. When I got it I noticed that the pita was extremely oily. It must have been heated up on the grill with a big squirt of oil. When I open it I discovered that there was very little gyro meat. Most of the gyros I get at other restaurants have almost too much gyro meat. My wife also got the gyro and isn't a big fan of onions so usually takes a few off to make her liking. Look at one of the pictures below with all the onions that she removed. That was how many onions were on her gyro. I would honestly say there were more onions than gyro meat.
