Had lunch here and got a fez burger, other people got the mushroom burger. For appetizer we tried the cauliflower wings. Everything was good, place has a cool vibe, defenetly worth trying

Food and service is usually great. I have eaten here over the last 9 years I have lived in AZ. However on this experience I was so disappointed that I even decided to write a review.

I ordered the Fez burger and asked for Medium Rare, as I'm eating I realize it's dry and harder than usual. I try and eat it because I don't like to send food back or complain but in this situation it was just too dry for my liking.

I informed the waiter who was very kind and realized it was not medium rare and quickly took it to the kitchen however the kitchen was "now closed." Someone in charge came from the back and said "the kitchen is closed so I can take just take it off plus you are half of it so..." as if somehow this is my fault and was pretty rude about it. He was not empathetic to the situation or apologized for the error they made plus I only had two bites of their small sandwich!!
Also they are supposed to close at 4pm and I we talked to them around 340pm about the issue. Other people were getting served even after I brought up the issue with my order.

It was my Birthday and I had family visiting from California. I talked up Fez like this great place we have known it to be just to be talked to rudely, accused of the incident as if it was my fault. We came from east mesa just to eat here and left mad, annoyed and hungry. They could have at least left the fries and not let me sit there as I watch my whole family eat.
