We were very impressed. The atmosphere was calm. There was no wait, we sat immediately. Our server was very gracious. I asked for recommendations and he stated the “Tandoori Fish Masala” was good. I ordered that with medium spice, and just wow! The flavors in the gravy were smooth with small hints of spice. My fiancé ordered similar with lamb and a delicious bread with butter. We were in food heaven. I ordered the “Taj Mahal” beer and it paired well with my dinner. We highly recommend the Star of India. The only bad thing was our dinner did exceed my dinner budget, but very well worth it to try something new! We will have another date night with dinner here again! Yum!

Very good and authentic Indian food; the mango lassi was amazing and very sweet, unlike some other restaurants that make the mango lassi bitter. The garlic Naan was tasty and very crispy, and the chicken Tika Masala had a very good taste and texture. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the rice. I think they put some type of spice I didn't like, but it still wasn't bad. The service was amazing, and the restaurant was very clean. I got family-run vibes from the place. The food is also Halal, which is amazing. I got my whole meal within 10–15 minutes, which is very fast for Indian restaurants.

This is our GO TO Indian spot.

The staff is not overly fake friendly, but are nice and make you feel welcome. The owner is a genuine treasure who honestly makes you want to come back and makes you feel welcome.

If you have a question, need a suggestion, and don't want to try to google what something is, the owner or servers will explain and help without upselling. They really want you to enjoy the food and your time here.

Everything is amazing, I know this, because I have tried literally almost everything (not tried all meat options for all dishes, but have tried all dishes and have only not had the seafood, but I will be starting next time and will give an update). Most dishes are served with rice and are not HUGE, but are good sized.

Bathroom and the restaurant are clean and feel more upscale despite the price being reasonable.

One time I had slow food times here and the manager personally came out, apologized, and comped a desert. Kitchens get backed up, things happen, it's not a big deal, and the little touches like the manager being on the floor and addressing it is amazing.

The only negative is the hours are limited and they are not open on Mondays, but I can't fault them for this at all, just be sure they are open when you are heading that way.

Love this place, it is HONESTLY worth a drive across the valley no matter where you are coming from, and will be back 100 times with everyone who wants to go!

I only wish I could give them 10 stars!   GREAT food and service!!  The chicken tikka masala was perfect!!  Garlic naan was spot on too!   The best part was the service!  The owner and staff made us feel like family!  Highly recommend!!

Decent food.  Took a little while for the food to come out when it wasn’t too busy.  But good flavored dishes.
