Ribs that fall off the bone, Mac & cheese skillet w/ pulled pork & jalapeno bacon bits, brisket, fried catfish, fried okra and I can go on as they were all next level!

Also, the sauces were excellent especially if you like the hot one but my favorite was the House Bold Bourbon which was smooth, mild, light smoke, and a touch of bourbon.

As great as the food was, the live jazz and blues was off the chain, especially when Joe can make it out from the kitchen.

A must stop for anyone that enjoys good food, great people, and a chill vibe!!!

This place is a comfortable place for great BBQ. The owners are super friendly. They have live music and a small stage area with instruments you can use. Joe is super friendly and  the wait staff is attentive. He smokes all his meats on a giant smoker outside. There are various days there for music, gospel, karaoke, open mike and then there are always scheduled named jazz and blues players but need to check when they are there. The owner is also talented as when he is not busy in the kitchen he enjoys coming out and playing on the guitar or the keyboard definitely a hidden gem. I tried several plates the day I was there and all were excellent. Definitely recommend this place.

DRY AND OVERPRICED! 😡
My aunt and I love BBQ and were excited to support a local business near her house. I have never felt so ripped off and price gouged…$18.50 for a sandwich with one single slice of beef brisket!

We placed our to go order at 7:15PM. They didn’t close until 9:00PM. If the food looked this poor, the kitchen should have never even served it (see photos).

•BEEF BRISKET: Was so dry and had the texture of beef jerky. My aunts knife wouldn’t even cut through it.
•SANDWICH ROLLS: So dry, they fell apart when we attempted to cut the sandwich.
•MAC & CHEESE: The pasta was mushy, dry, and had absolutely no cheese flavor.

A great neighborhood joint with great food, family owned focused service, love music (as scheduled).  Cole slaw is excellent, fried okra how I like it. Ribs look amazing as I wait for them! And, just ordered a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving! Food is great. Owners are great. Sauces are great! By the way, the ribs were smoked and amazing! Great night
