Love the location. Quaint indoor/outdoor areas. View of the mountains when sitting up front by the door. The staff are warm and welcoming. Our waiter was prompt and knowledgable and was respectful of our space and time. The food was on point. I had the Spring Rolls (deliciously golden browned and crisp) Szechuwan Beef (the beef was so flavorful and tender) dinner plate and my fiancee had the Garlic Chicken dinner plate. We both got fried rice. So happy we did. We would have fought over the rice otherwise haha. The fried rice is just that good. Highly recommend this place to all!

The staff is friendly! This is my second time here and I ordered the chicken and eggplant lunch special. It was excellent and prepared quickly! The lunch specials come with an egg roll...but I ate it immediately so it is not featured in my photo.

—Delivery—
Our meal was promised to be delivered in 30 minutes, but then took 90 minutes. After an hour I called asking about the food and was told 5-7 minutes... which obviously didn’t happen.

The ordering experience was also challenging because they seemed to have an untrained employee manning the phone. When I asked a question about the menu (if we could have noodles instead of rice) he handed the phone off to someone else. Later he was taking my CC info and handed it off again after getting the number—he seemed unsure of what info he needed for a CC payment and didn’t know what I was saying when telling him the expiration date.

—Food—
The food was OK. Veggies and tofu were cooked well and had a nice texture. The eggplant was also good but a little gamey... which could have been the result of the (very sweet) sauce it was in. Overall the noodles and entrees were passable, but nothing to get excited about.

The spring rolls were soft. Considering the price point for these, I had really hoped for something memorable. I suppose they were, but not in a good way.

That’s probably the best way I can describe the experience we had getting delivery from China Lite: memorable... not in a good way.
