FINALLY!! A REAL pizza place in arizona... truly felt like pizza back home...(back east). I was blown away with the stromboli he made, it was as traditional as it gets, not some pizza folded into a hot pocket like every other pizza place. I had the Parmesan cheese slice & sliced sausage pizza and garlic knots, my wife had cheese slice, the crust is absolutely perfect and from what my wife tells me, it was the same 20years ago when she used to go here. David Portnoy, I got this one for ya...I rate the pizza a 10 and the stromboli a 10. My heart (and gut) was happy to finally find a place I'm willing to drive 45mins too and it'll be worth it every time! I'm not a pizza snob, but this place makes me never want to eat at another pizza shop...it'd be a sin if I did. Can't wait to be back ;)

My boyfriend liked to come here in the past, but he says the pizza he remembers has gone "downhill". I liked the sauce, but the crust wasn't authentic NY style and the toppings were mediocre. We are pizza fanatics, so we are on a mission to find the best-tasting pizza in AZ!

The guy who makes the pizza is rude and condescending. Ordered a couple of slices, no need to heat up very long since I like the crust non-toasted. He started a rant about it being to soft and i shouldn’t want my pizza that way. Started yelling that I don’t know anything about pizza etc. really odd behavior since I’m in there a couple of times monthly. I handed the slices back and was leaving as he was still yelling, and he placed them back on the tray to be sold again. After I had touched them. Never again.

Owner has poor attitude, Customer Service is trash just like his reading skills and comprehension. Paid almost $40 for an order, And did not get what I Paid for. When I called, all I got was excuses. Then this cheap, dirty establishment keeping unprofessional waste of breath, had the Audacity to tell me he can give me the difference for the pizza that I paid for the Stromboli. If you want a horrible customer service and tasteless overcooked food, then this might be The dump to waste your money.

This used to be my favorite pizza place outside of New York. No longer, this place has changed. Called ahead with our order as we were in a bit of a rush. Arriving 15 minutes later, the girl that took our order was like “Oh what was your order again?”  She hadn’t even put the order in yet. I realize young people need a place to start and learning on the job can be difficult but owning it needs to be on management. The owner is a total a-hole and thinks he’s above criticism.  He made us show our receipt before we could get to go boxes acting as though we hadn’t paid and were trying to dine and  dash. Um you do realize that you pay at the counter when arriving right?  What if I had chosen not to get a receipt?  When our food did finally arrive it was cold and obviously sat on the counter for an extended period of time. I’ll go to Little Caesar’s before I go back again. This place is not what it used to be. I’m really bummed because good NY pizza is hard to find. Scratch this one from the list.
