I just had my first experience with the food here, and wow, it was fantastic! We had the chance to meet Mao, the owner, and you could really feel how passionate and joyful he is about his dishes. We tried the lemon chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, and steamed dumplings, and let me tell you, we left feeling full and happy. The owner even spotted that one of our dishes didn’t quite meet his standards, so he took it upon himself to whip up a fresh version! Although the first dish was tasty, the second one he really put his foot in it 10/10 lemon chicken.

Went to this place twice in my 4 days stay in Tempe. The service was top notch very friendly made you feel welcome. You order through the app in alignment with today's trend. Menu is limited but very selective. The quantity and quality of the food is A+. The ambiance was to its name had a red tone to it with a flying dragon suspended from the roof.
Ordered Kong Pao Chicken popcorn one day and another day their pineapple chicken both were very good. I liked their Kong Pao chicken more.

I Just finished dinner at Dragon Flame. Arrived at about 7:30pm. Restaurant was a quarter full at the time of arrival.

I’m doing this review because if I didn’t I would be doing you all injustice. Ambience in the place is dark with the owners dogs roaming around and the service was horrendous. Horrendous because the waitress was not properly trained.

The owner walks around yapping with patrons not helping when the staff is in obvious duress. Undertrained, overworked. Every patron in the place asking for utensils, drinks and plates. Waitress couldn’t keep up. Owner continues to walk around all while talking poorly about the staff.

Food quality was mixed bags. Lamb skewers and pineapple chicken were good, dumplings in the frozen isle from Costco taste better. Tables were dirty and bowls were being wiped down with the dirty table cloth. Yuck!

Last note, when you arrive a sign asks to not leave a review and to bring any concerns with the owner. We did at the restaurant and all he did was blame his staff.

I love love love this place starting off with the hours, they are open very late. The quality of food is very high, they give you items that you would not get at many other Chinese restaurants such as fried chicken in like five different ways. Their fried rice uses bone broth and basmati rice, which makes it awesome. Their skewers are some of the best that you will find in town. Honestly, everything they make is made with love and the owner has his two little puppies running around the restaurant which I think is really cute and my kids love them. The owner is very personable and talks to you like you’re  family

The food was absolutely exceptional. Their spicy noodle Bean broth dish was probably one of the best things I've tasted in a very long time. I felt like I was eating super authentic food in a welcoming environment The pineapple chicken was also delicious. The crust on the chicken was crunchy and it was dressed just perfectly with the nicest sweet pineapple glaze. I will totally go back again
