Extremely Disappointed – Decline in Quality and Service

We’ve been going to Rigatoni’s since 1999, back when they were located on Arizona Avenue. Sadly, I have to say they’ve gone downhill in every way.

First, the prices have gone up substantially, while the portion sizes have shrunk considerably. On top of that, the quality of the food has taken a noticeable hit.
Our last visit about a month ago left us disappointed, but we assumed it was a one-time issue. We decided to give them another chance—unfortunately, it was more of the same.
Not only was the food underwhelming, but the service was terrible. Our waitress never looked us in the eye, never smiled, and didn’t even greet us properly. We were honestly shocked. We ran out of bread and had to ask three times for more. It finally arrived 20 minutes after the first request.
I ordered my favorite dish—Chicken Parmesan—and it was an absolute letdown. The chicken was barely 3.5–4 inches long, less than 3 inches wide, thin, heavily breaded, dry, and overcooked—all for $17.99 (see attached photo).
Never again! It’s truly disappointing to see what has become of this place after so many years of dining here. I cannot recommend it anymore.

I’ll start off by saying the food was delicious. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and it did not disappoint. The presentation was great as well.
As for the service, we ended up waiting 20 minutes just for our waiter to take our order. That’s my only complaint. We went on New Year’s eve night so I’m sure it was busy as well as a little understaffed, so it’s understandable.
I would definitely come here again and try their other pasta dishes, on a quieter day.

Pretty great Italian place. Busy and you’ll prob have to wait. The whole place could really use a revamp and deep cleaning. Chickenpicatta was 10/10, calamari tasted super fresh and wasn’t chewy at all, lobster ravioli was 7/10, antipasto salad is huge and was great. Service was attentive and friendly.

Loved the atmosphere, a very vintage italian look. Our server was friendly, and got our orders right. The only reason this place doesn’t get five stars is because the food wasn’t mind blowing, and someone in my groups food was cold so they took the dish back and put it in the microwave, instead of remaking it which they easily could of done because of how simple the dish was.
