Ever since my favorite pizza place closed up shop I’ve been on the search for a great NY slice. This place surprised me by showing they know what a great NY pizza slice really is. The crust is crisp on the bottom but with some chew, the sauce and cheese in the perfect ratio for a NY pizza. Local places have a tendency to go way too heavy on the sauce, New York Pizza dodged that bullet it was the perfect amount! Two cheese slices and a drink (in the plastic red glasses like your favorite old school pizzeria) for 8.75 at time of writing I believe. That’s an insane deal. 5 bucks for a single slice and drink. Got the cheese bread loaf for 5 bucks on a whim, the bread is fresh from vero amore the very friendly bearded fellow told me at the counter! It was crispy on the outside and so soft and pillowy inside. It caught me off guard how good it was and it disappeared in no time. The place isn’t fancy but is clean, it’s understated like a lot of the best pizza places I’ve been to! Give this place a try, you won’t go wrong if you’re looking for tasty cheese bread and a great NY style round pizza.

Whether I’m stopping in for a quick escape from the world with a piping hot slice or grabbing a big, beautiful pie for date night with my hubby, this place never disappoints.

Pleasantly surprised! As a Jersey native, I was never expecting to find anything close to my type of pie in Tucson Arizona. New York pizza has definitely won me over with their family size pie and sweet sauce. I’m glad I found a place that goes so close to home.

Went here for the first time tonight and as wonderful as the pizza was (and it is very good!!), the staff was even better! Not only was the cashier helping us, but the cooks were also involved in helping us pick out what we wanted. Everyone was friendly and upbeat. The service here is why we'll be making this our regular for pizza night. Thank y'all so much.
