Our daughter was married at this hotel this past weekend and the whole thing couldn't have gone more smoothly. From the venue itself, the staff, the food, everything was set up to make this as easy for us as possible. We arrived at noon, knowing we were way early for checkin, and the valet just took our name, unloaded our car, and welcomed us, and put us into the elevator. When it opened, staff was waiting to give us a tour of the facility and deliver us to the concierge, who seamlessly checked us in to our room, which was ready hours early. Our luggage was waiting for us in our room. Which was amazing; we had suite 9, which overlooked the courtyard from a wall of windows and was roomy and quiet, but my dad, son, and niece all had rooms which were smaller but equally beautiful. The bridal couple had suite 18, which was just incredible, a huge living room and powder room with a lofted bedroom and full bath. Other guests also rave about their rooms and suites. One couple came with their toddler and newborn, and the hotel even provided -- unasked -- a bathtub for the baby and appropriate size robes for the kids. We were there for four nights, and consistently when we left our room for breakfast or tea or dinner, staff notified one another so that when we got back, any necessary housekeeping had been taken care of while we were out. It was amazing. The event planning staff was equally amazing. We felt as if we'd hired a wedding planner who was operating silently and efficiently in the background. The food, which was catered in-house by Magdalena, was excellent. We can't recommend it more highly. For a microwedding, with maybe 30 guests who all want to stay on property, this couldn't be a better choice.

I stopped by the Ivy hotel for a massage. I have to be honest I came because my friend purchased a gift certificate for me. The hotel is stunning and the customer service is top tier. They do provide valet when you are getting spa services. The massage was okay. I received the custom massage for 60 minutes. They provide water service before and tea afterwards. They gave me a small gift and card since I was celebrating my birthday.

This past summer, I celebrated my husband's birthday with alfresco dining in the ivy-walled courtyard at the Ivy Hotel. I'm back again today, a Sunday when the restaurant is typically closed, to indulge in the elegance of Afternoon Tea. Our tea expert, Emma, provided detailed information about selecting loose teas and savory bites. We amplified our Tea experience with a bottle of Rose. Thank you, Emma, for the excellent attention to detail. Typically, only hotel guests can access the beautiful rooms inside the historic mansion. Our group of four was treated to a tour of all the main rooms and an unoccupied guest room. All I can say is, Wow! The Ivy Hotel recently received Michelin two key recognitions for its Excellence in dining, accommodations, and spa. For Reservations, call the hotel or utilize the Open Table App Cost: $75 per person; gratuity and valet parking is already included in the $75 Alcohol -additional cost per glass or bottle

I had a 60th birthday weekend at the Ivy for my husband. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had a private dinner with wine pairings. Wow! It was amazing. The food was delicious. The wine pairings were wonderful. The hotel is gorgeous. We felt so at home. We hated to leave. We will definitely be back.

I would like the hotel management to know that it is completely illegal to block city residents 2 hour spots with red cones. Tonight 9/16 I had such a bad back and forth with their parking guy (he is tall black man), who threatened me that I cannot park and if I did I'll have consequences. I confronted him saying he cannot block city resident parking, which I pay for. We have limited spots in the city to begin with. The hotel cannot advertise valet parking and then take city parking and additional use cones and then tell someone who lives here that it's for the property and property can use red cones to block parking like this. I filed a report to 311 and I will not sit quiet if they won't stop this. I also frequently come to Magdalena for dinner and drinks and it's very disappointing to see the neighborhood hotel use such practices.

I visited for a friends birthday celebration and was given a tour. All of the staff were friendly and it just had a cozy vibe. Loved how they had tea team and the decor is historic, elegant, and cozy. Also love how they had a restaurant that served delicious treats for tea

I visited the spa for a second time today. The space is visually pleasing and very clean. The staff has been exceptionally professional and knowledgeable at both of my visits. I have had full body, deep tissue massages done by Abigail and Amira. I can't say enough about how comfortable I felt during my service with both of them. I'm planning on scheduling a facial within the next few weeks and will update my review as soon as I receive that service. Valet was included in my spa service.

Everything about my stay at the Ivy was exquisite. From the moment I arrived all the way to the moment I left the hotel, I felt cared for, welcomed, and like I was at home with family and friends. The staff have normalized excellence in a way I've never seen or experienced before. I'm definitely coming back.
