This place is a dump. The rooms are old, dingy, and not clean. The "free complimentary breakfast" consisted of 2 carafes of regular coffee with some awful powdered creamer. I was told there were doughnuts but when I exclaimed there were none on the table, the service person went into the VIP room and brought back some Twinkies and Cup Cakes. For what I paid, I expect at least a clean room with the perks as advertised on the website. I was told that they haven't had a continental breakfast in over a year. So at the very least, update the website to reflect this.

Bad! I travel constantly and this is the worst place I was ever at. We had several rooms booked and lasted less than an hour 3 of us found many issues in all our rooms Two of the rooms had absolutely disgusting mattresses and furniture. I had blood on the wall, a piece of a crack pipe on the floor. With the freshly painted ceiling and blood on the wall I think someone was attacked or murdered in there. Even without all the issues, the rooms are seriously outdated by decades. With the cleanliness I saw in an hour I couldn't imagine what I would see if I looked further. Between the non guests hanging outside and that they sell condoms in the lobby I think that says what kind of place this is.

Coming out of state for business, but the person that booked this for my crew and I failed to tell us how.... well.... the one says it all. The hotel is way out of compliance in many ways. It needs to the define the word REMODEL! There's a lot of shady people hanging out around the building . Service sucks. Let's not start with the rooms. Water pressure sucked. Beds are twin bed with pillows made out of used pillows consolidated into shirts. I didn't bother with the food because the hotels appearance speaks for itself.

This place works as a last resort but definitely would not recommend... I have a service dog and I have never had this many issues getting checked into a hotel. Guy at the front desk(bald white guy) told me he didn't the room On the 1st floor checked me into one that had not even been cleaned on the 2nd floor. told him I wanted a refund then he conveniently had a 1st floor room. Not impressed better than the first room but not as clean as it should be for $86.

This place is a complete nightmare. My shuttle from the airport was miserable, and a real eye opener. I watched crack deals happen right outside the shuttle I was on. Burned buildings, ghetto, and all the horrible stuff you can image. I'll pray for Baltimore from this day forward. Unreal. Upon arriving for my stay, Baltimore police was on scene with a big huge cargo van, which was converted into two holding cells for people who are arrested, and 2 other Baltimore police cars. Dude In handcuffs on front porch with officers around him. On the inside, more officers interviewing people. Total of 3 people arrested. I walked through the front door. Police on the left, and bulletproof glass all around the check in window. The best part was a "NO TRESPASSING" sign on the INSIDE of the building. My room was on the 6th floor. Which is why I even stayed here in the first place. I felt safe all the way up there. My room was clean. However the bathroom had hair all over it. Including my towels, the shower, and the sink. It was disgusting. However I dared not complain because I had to stay here for 3 nights. I'll leave photos here for you all to see. I will never, ever stay here again

Horrible ! stains on the carpet, broken dresser. Felt very unsafe on the property. Big party going on checked in at 11:30 pm . No parking to be found. When asked the front desk about parking the guy threw his arm up in the air. As to say "oh well". People just hang out in parked cars and around building. Told about a no refund policy when I said I like to cancel my reservation. So I stayed. Reluctantly I mush say! This place must close down!!

the service at this hotel is above and beyond. the management team goes out of their way to accommodate groups of guests, and works very hard to ensure that everything meets expectations. our group has stayed at this hotel for two years in a row, and hopes to do so for many years to come! so many thanks to Nancy and her team!

I wish I had read the other one star review before staying here. Brooke isn't exaggerating. The front desk is behind protective glass which should have been our clue to get out. As for the rest.. I'll sum up as: domestic violence right across the hall, police, arrest, paddywagon, refund, buh-bye. The wifi is pretty fast though.

America's Best Value Inn is not a terrible place to spend the night. I spent 2 nights here with 2 other people for Otakon 2013. It is affordable and not far from the Convention Center if you jump on 95 South ($8 back and forth with toll, however). The location isn't too bad, there seems to be some apartment complexes, gas stations and a McDonald's close by. The front desk and the cleaning staff were very friendly! I did not have trouble checking in or out. The double double was clean. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were pretty flat. There is a nice sized cable TV but we were unable to take off the demo ad popups. There is no refrigerator. The AC worked very well, no problems. Adequate seating and a desk. There is a menu for room service and also for a local Chinese takeout. The bathroom has a hair dryer and a shower with a nice showerhead if you need a back massage. The sink had an ugly crack in it but there was no problems with leaks. The toilet was very loud and sounded like it was flushing to another dimension.... yet it still had problems flushing that you needed to do it twice every time. There was not enough towels but they provided us with more the next day. The third floor has a soda machine but bottled water is not an option. There is free continental breakfast from 5:30-9:30 on the weekends. There are plain bagels, toast, cookies, poppy muffins, cookies, a Minute Maid juice machine, coffee, packaged spreads. The seating area for breakfast is very nice and comfortable with a large TV. There is an ATM in the lobby. There is nothing wrong with the hotel and if there are, it is very minor and I think it is affordable enough to overlook. As for patrons, there were plenty who were there for convention. The later hours YES there is a strong marijuana smell in our hall. There may be some late night crowd but if you're up at that hour, anyway, it's not surprising to see those types at a cheap inn/motel. If you can't find a hotel or afford one at downtown inner harbor, then this is not a bad place to stay.

Wow. Crappy. Security glass at the main desk. Massive #fail by Priceline.com. Somehow this place garnered 6.6 out of 10. Also, massive #fail by google maps on the route here... going right thru a bunch of projects, what looked like drug dealers on street corners, abandoned industrial... Just really bad experience. Decor is 80s, construction is 50s. Hands down the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at.
