Brew City Grill is an American-style brewery that has become a favorite among my family for its wide selection of beers, comfortable ambience, pet-friendly seating, and perfect fries. In rankings of West Valley restaurants in the style of "American cuisine," Brew City Grill has found itself listed next to other highly-recommended locations like Hero Ranch Kitchen or the Michelin-recommended New Orchard Kitchen. Comparatively, Brew City Grill offers an unpretentious fare of classic American dishes executed well, including burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and burritos. In the American/New-American divide, Brew City Grill sits decisively in "American." The food avoids the pitfalls of poorly-executed brewery food such as an abundance of salt and grease. On this most recent visit, I went with a medium-cooked Magic Mushroom Burger: "Horseradish aioli, gruyere, mushrooms, grilled onions, brioche bun." The toppings were well-portioned, with the melted gruyere doing a good job holding the whole set together. The onions and mushrooms were caramelized, not at all watery but with solid body. The burger had excellent structural integrity, and although this burger didn't have any of the more typically wet vegetables like tomatoes or lettuce the bun exhibited no sogginess from the burger or toppings. The fries appear to be double- or even triple-battered, and have an amazing crisp, crunchy quality. As a fan of sours and ciders, Brew City Grill has some of the best options of any local venues. With my Magic Mushroom Burger I had an Imperial Peach Cider from Ace Cider. It had a powerful peach aroma that was evident the moment it reached the table. It was well-balanced: medium body, discernible apple base, sweet but with a tartness and acidity, and a champagne-like fermentation character. When it comes to vegan options, Beyond burgers are available as substitutions for their meat patties. I once ordered their brewery nachos with no protein, and the server even suggested we substitute beyond burger meat, which we did. Beyond meat is sometimes somewhat divisive, and I will probably just get the nachos with no protein if I order them again (it's a little too sweet tasting for nachos), but the suggestion was indicative of the thoughtfulness of the staff (we have had the same server several times across the span of over a year, so that also suggests some low turnover from staff). There are also some good salads listed. If you are looking for burgers and brews at a chill sit-down restaurant, Brew City Grill is probably the best you can ask for.

The food is ehhh. The beer is the only thing that's good there. Lots of beer variety. Ordered: 1) kids slider with fruits. 2 little Hawaiian sliders with "frozen" tasting grapes. Surprised it was just grapes and not other fruits, and way overpriced for what it was! 2) Rueben fries: Ruben was not very good. Fries were good! 3) Pazole soup- super small for the cup. Soup was good but the tortilla chips taste stale! 4) Steak and avocado sandwich- prob the best item on the table. Overall, drinks are good. Food meh!

We were in the area and tried Brew City Grill because of the Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. We were seated immediately (it was Veteran's Day, holiday for some people). The food and drink menus had a lot of options, making it hard to decide on what to eat and drink. So we ordered several dishes. The restaurant was 1/2 full when we arrived, but filled up by the time we left. We did not have to talk over loud background music or noises. Brew City Grill is a little far off our beaten path, but we would go back when we're in the area again.

Such a great place. Part of the "Holder" breakfast chain. I typically see one of the owners there on Saturday morning making sure things are good. We've had the same bartender each time we go. She's been great attentive and always checking if we need another beer. Have had a range of the dishes here. Never dissatisfied.

Thoroughly impressed! Food was delicious, nothing was oily or overly salted. I enjoyed every single dish and so surprised at how tasty the pozole was. Came during a niner preseason game on a Saturday and there was no crowd. Shockers because this is such a great spot! Absolutely love they are dog-friendly and had chicken/rice or ground beef/rice bowls for $6. Will definitely be back and look forward to making this a regular spot!

Pozole for the win! Most places do not offer pozole, but when I see it, I order it. So glad I did. It's a pozole Verde and comes in a cup or bowl. Ordered the bowl. They are generous with chicken and hominy and the broth/soup base is tasty. It comes with the fixin's - chopped white onion, radish slices, lime wedges and tortilla strips. It also comes with a generous handful of tortilla chips and a cream based salsa. Very good. We also ordered the strawberry arugula salad. Portions are large, the strawberries were fresh and ripe. Glad we finally tried Brew City Grill Parking can be a little hard as it's a small lot with shared parking with several other shops/stores.

I loved how chill this place is. When I ate here, it felt like a lazy, breezy, Sunday afternoon. Its dog friendly at the patio seating outside. Its very nice inside too. The service was attentive and fast. I had a late lunch but there were still people there. I had an amazing Ceasar salad. I ordered that twice. Rhe calamari was excellent, and my friend got the rueben. I ordered some chicken wings and 2 glasses of wine. Everything was excellent and I certainly enjoyed myself. I will definitely come again with my dogs next time!

Nice little lunch/drink spot for a sunny day. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the day. Waitress was helpful and quick to serve. Food came out quick as well and was pretty good. We tried the wings and nachos with carnitas. The wings were good well with a good spice level (Nashville hot). The nachos were dressed evenly with delicious cheese sauce and ample tasty carnitas. They have a wide selection of beers and a couple ciders as well. Would come back and bring some friends to hang.
