Came on a tuesday evening with a friend to catch up and ended up closing the place down because it was so nice to sit and chat and the atmosphere was great Arrived (made a resy online) and were given the option of outside or in, we chose outside. We made it in time for Happy Hour so we ordered a few cocktails, which were really pretty when they arrived. We ordered the olives, prosciutto and burrata and beets (all labeled gluten free) and I verified when I ordered that they were gluten free and the server nodded.... They all arrived and we were so excited but the prosciutto arrived, no burrata and had grilled bread on the plate ((sigh)) thankfully it was only touching a few pieces of prosciutto which gave me a few pieces to eat (I had forgotten that it came with burrata or I would have asked where it was, so my bad on that!) The olives were spicy, which I did not expect, but were tasty The beets were good, but needed a little seasoning but the nice balance of cheese, greens and hazelnuts was refreshing and light. We then ordered the ravioli vegani and it was sooooooo good!! The sauce smelled heavenly and tasted even better and the ravioli was so good - I could have eaten 2 or 3 of these :) The cocktails were really good - she had 2 margaritas and I ordered 2 decaf espresso martinis - they were ally pretty and tasted great Definitely will go back but will hope the gluten isn't presented on my gluten free dish :)

Doppio has several locations, the one in Cupertino left good impression, yet closed a few years ago. I grabbed the opportunity to visit this Campbell one when presented. It was Sunday lunch, crashed with the downtown farmers' market which made parking difficult, but also seating very available. Guess patrons avoid Sunday lunches. We order too many appetizers and they were all enjoyable. The entreés, however, were a bit shy of excellent. Great pizza dough and cheeses, but the chili peppers were way too spicy. The Ragu pasta were great in flavor, but the meat a bit on the dry side (wild boar) and pasta should be wider (whatever the name of the wide one). The best was the Gnocchi, great texture, great sauces, and excellent compliment with eggplant. We were too engaged and I forgot to make pictures. That's probably a good thing.

Went here with someone and really enjoyed it! The place was beautiful, I prefer this area over the Mountain View location, and our server was so sweet and attentive. We got the figs and prosciutto pizza, the lasagna, the basil and butterfly pea mocktail and the burrata with hazelnuts. The pizza was, honestly, SUPER overwhelming to eat, haha. I couldn't pick it up and it was difficult to cut through with a knife, but it tasted good. I like their bufalina more, but this was nice too. I didn't try the lasagna, but the person I came with said he really enjoyed it and that the portion size was perfect. The burrata was, honestly, EXTREMELY lackluster. Burrata is a subtle flavor, yes, but this truly didn't taste of anything. The only flavor I got was the honey and hazelnuts. I tried purely the burrata by itself, and didn't even taste any cream. It just didn't taste of anything. The honey was high quality and the hazelnuts were delicious so we were still satisfied, but I wish the burrata had a little more flavor. The mocktail was excellent!! Super flavorful and beautiful, and actually worth the price--it's a large glass with the perfect amount of ice to keep the beverage cold without being entirely ice, haha. Loved it here and will come back!

I've been a big fan of Doppio Zero since visiting their Mountain View location years ago. While I've tasted quite a bit from the menu at the other location, I've only been here for happy hour, which was great! Happy hour (at the time I wrote this review) is Monday-Thursday from 4:30-6. They do offer their regular full menu during this time, but they also have some food and drink specials. Our group shared meatballs and a small happy hour pizza, then got a variety of drinks. I got an aperol spritz and a glass of wine, all of which were discounted on happy hour. Service was super friendly, we sat outside and they were actively moving umbrellas to make sure we stayed shaded. Can't wait to come back here more often!

Amazing Italian place. This place was recommended by one of my Italian friend and it is truly phenomenal. All the food was so done so well. The polpo was a little small but the texture and salad pair with it was on point. For little gem it was also very refreshing and you could really taste the anchovies. For both of these dishes, I think the hardest thing about salad is seasoning it correctly since if too much sauce it gets soggy but too little would make you feel like you're just eating raw veggies so they do a great job seasoning it. For the pastas, I could not stop eating the Marechiaro Pasta. It was seasoned perfectly, the seafood was not overcooked, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The wild boar fettuccine was also great, the slow cooked meat was not dry and overly chewy and meshes with the pasta perfectly. Now the pizzas. I cannot stop talking about their Figs pizza. There are so many pizzas so I wouldn't know if it's their best pizza but it definitely blew me away. The ingredients used, the salty from the prosciutto, savory from the balsmic, with a tiny little bit sweet from the figs, really compliments the perfectly chewy dough makes me finish a slice in seconds. The sopressata pizza was also really good, it is pretty spicy for people who can't handle spice, I loved it but the figs one just took over the show. The waiters were super nice to us and would like have some small talk to us which was so nice of them and truly made us feel comfortable and the place the decoration is really classy makes me want to come here again.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner during our first visit to DZ Campbell, after being years-long fans of the Mountain View location. This location has a pleasingly open and modern ambiance that blends nicely with the downtown Campbell vibe. We nibbled on pleasingly crisp, flavorful truffle fries while enjoying cocktails (Pornstar and Espresso Fizz Martini were both great), and then ordered a few items to share for dinner (we were a party of 3). The classic Margherita pizza, and their signature Doppio Zero pizza did not disappoint - I could eat that pizza dough every day, and it's the star of their Neapolitan style pizzas. I've had their pizzas before, but this was the first time we tried their wild mushroom spinach ravioli, which is served in a fondue truffle sauce. We loved every bite and used the pizza crust to soak up every drop of the sauce lol. We were quite full, but talked ourselves into sharing a Hazelnut Tartufo (dark chocolate + hazelnut gelato covered in praline and hazelnut), and then rounded out our meal with Limoncello shots. Great meal overall, and service was cheerful and attentive. Parking isn't too bad...there's a lot nearby, but we were lucky and found a spot right in front. We will return to check out what it's like during happy hour.

We enjoyed a midweek dinner for three and we're not disappointed. We had cocktails and appetizers and entrées. Everything came out quickly and the food was absolutely delicious. What made the evening even better was the bill was about $130. We were stuffed. I don't know how we managed to come in so inexpensively but it's no wonder why this is a favorite for us.

This is a review for their Happy Hour which is Monday through Thursday 4:30 PM - 6 PM, and is a fantastic deal. Walked in to their beautiful open restaurant and had no problems getting a seat, which there are a ton of. There's lots of tasty options on their Happy Hour menu. Our favorites were the addicting deep fried olives and killer deals on whole small pizzas. Gorgeous cocktails too which were $3 off. Would definitely come back for HH again!

Didn't get pics of all the food and drink we had because it went fast! Sooo delish!!! I've been thinking about the ravioli since I enjoyed this. From the table bread, appetizers, pasta, to the drinks! Not a single miss! Staff was incredible and the vibe inside was gorgeous. Very happy with my experience and excited to go back!

We were a party of 12 on a Thursday night and had a great experience! Our server Marco was awesome, he was friendly and very attentive, great hospitality! We shared the truffle fries and calamari for appetizers. I got the spaghetti bogarta which is a light sauce pasta with salmon and they gave a good portion of salmon! This was my second time at this location and I would definitely come back! Pro tip: Ask for the chili oil, for an elevated spice to add to your dish!
