This was our first time staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Pruneyard. We selected this hotel based on the location and pricing. Parking - Free parking for guests. Parking lot is open and not monitored. The parking spot were kinda tight and we had to circle a few times before one opened up for us to park. Check In - Check in was smooth. There was no line. The lady helping us was nice. She offered us free warm chocolate chip cookies (with walnuts). Room - We stayed in a Standard Room with 2 Beds. The room was bigger than expected. It was clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were fluffy! The bathroom had soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The ironing board was a miniature size. The iron SUCKED! It kept turning itself off. The TV was big and was loaded with apps you could sign into. My daughter watched Disney+ and was so happy! The hotel is located at the Pruneyard. So, we walked over to find something to eat. Great location!

On the recommendation of a friend, I reached out to the Doubletree in April of 2025 to begin planning a Celebration of Life for my late husband. I spoke with Anna several times by email, phone and in person. I surveyed the site with my daughter and had a contract drawn up for the late June event. The contract had charges for space, tables and unbrellas, speakers/microphone, as well as the usual horderves and beverage package. Beer and wine/soft drinks and waters. I added a champagne toast for the group as well. The event was for a three hour time frame (1-4) late June. Electronic invitations sent out to emails gave me a total of 30 attendees. I purchased food and drinks for a larger group of attendees just in case. The billed food cost was set but the beverage count was high, crazy high. 125 sodas and sparkling waters. 120 glasses of wine 30 White Claw or High Noon Spiked Seltzers 6 bottles of Champagne for the toast Called the hotel and they sent the tally sheet. Unable to understand the coding, I sent emails and waited for a response. The Beverage manager called me directly, explaining this was common (?). I spoke to most of my attendees and found most did not have as many beverages as the average to make to totals as illustrated on the tally sheet. I feel that I was a convenient event for overcharging. Attending to my guests, I did not watch the bartenders and guest volume of beverages. I am sad that I should have been more focused on the bar area than my event, considering this was for a loved one who just recently passed. I do not recomment this hotel for events. I believe that they were making up for another event and I will not return. I plan to advise others of this same practice.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. I couldn't decide between three and four stars, and I find myself still trying to decide as I write this review My husband and I stayed at this Double Tree in the Pruneyard shopping center in Campbell for three nights for a birthday celebration in the courtyard of the hotel. It is a great hotel to stay at for out-of-towners with no car like us. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel, itself, is relatively small, and has a restaurant/bar with limited hours. We arrived pretty late in the evening. We got to the room and realized they had only given us one key. So we had to go back down to get another. The elevator was slow and we couldn't find the stairs (later found they had been closed off temporarily). Then it took the staff member several tries to get us a second key. He had also mentioned that breakfast was until 11 in the morning, but I had gone down to get us some food, and found that it was all closed, and it was just after 10. Our room was simple, but I liked that it had a seating area and a small fridge. It was clean and the housekeeping service cleaned it daily. I found the bed to be comfortable enough, but my husband did not care for it, and had a hard time sleeping. In the mornings, I would hear quite a bit of noise in the hall, perhaps guests or housekeeping. I wasn't sure, but I do think the rooms need more soundproofing. One positive thing is that we needed to print a gift certificate that we were putting inside a card as a gift, and the staff went out of their way to print it for us. Also, I really liked the small gym. It was clean. I was the only one there and it had fresh water, as well as a variety of workout equipment. It was cold, so I didn't use the pool. I did walk by it. It is not attractive, however, some children from our party did seem to enjoy it. This is not a review of the event venue, but I did want to comment that the courtyard area was very lovely, and the hotel staff that worked the event venue did a great job. I did make it down to grab juice and coffee during breakfast hours a couple of times. I was thinking that it looked like a very nice free breakfast, but later found out is was $20. Sorry for unintentionally stealing the juice and coffee. Though it looked like a good free breakfast, it definitely wasn't work $20. All in all, a great location and friendly staff. The hotel itself is just OK.

Had a wonderful stay at the Double Tree Hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Nice restaurants and Shops within walking distance. We had an enjoyable stay at Doubletree hotel, when another hotel in the area gave away our reservation. We will definitely stay at Doubletree hotel again when we return to the San Jose area again. The room was quiet, clean and updated. Bed was soft and comfortable. The only negative thing about the room was that the bed was too high. At 3 feet + high, it was a little bit of a challenge to get onto the bed. The mattress was soft and sheets were velvety, so it was easy to slide off the bed. It would be better if the hotel used Mattresses that were less thick. I am 5'10" tall, and I had to use my hands to help push myself up onto the bed. It's probably difficult for shorter people to get in and out of bed. All in all, it was an above average stay compared to other hotels in the area. The shower had hot water in less than a minute, so I was able to enjoy a hot shower quickly after a long trip.

We had a wonderful experience at the DoubleTree thanks to Mike at the front desk. My mom has a medical condition that makes walking long distances difficult, and our original room assignment was very far from the main areas. Mike went out of his way--during an especially busy week--to switch us to a room close to the elevator. His kindness, patience, and understanding made a huge difference for us and showed genuine care for guests' needs. We're very grateful for his help and the above-and-beyond service!

I've stayed at this Hilton a couple times now and both times I had a great experience. It's conveniently located in the Pruneyard shopping center close to shopping and a ton of restaurants. Parking is usually a bit challenging but the hotel does have a small designated parking area for their guests. They give you complimentary chocolate chip cookies when you check in which is a nice little treat. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms are pretty spacious and have always been clean when we stayed there. I will definitely be back!

We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Campbell for our wedding weekend, and booked a room block for our hotel guests. Booking the room block was really easy, and the team that coordinated it for us was so easy to work with, generous, and accommodating. The stay itself was nice, and our room included a hand-written congratulatory note, along with a small gift basket and towel animals, which was a lovely and unexpected touch. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff at the front desk was pleasant. DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies are always a selling point! This hotel has an unbeatable location. Many of our wedding guests also stayed here, and it was unbelievably convenient to pop downstairs to one of the many restaurants within walking distance to grab brunch or dinner. I would definitely stay here again just for the location alone. Parking was free at the hotel, but was a bit challenging to find a space on Saturday night.

As a Hilton Honors member, I decided to try this place for the first time. Conveniently located in a prime spot within the Pruneyard Center, they even offer free parking spots for guests! I was welcomed at the front desk by Megan. It was 2pm and I had asked for early check-in. She was accommodating, friendly and helpful, offering options for my "standard room" stay. When I inspected the room I felt it was stark and old, in need of an update. I re-approached Megan about upgrade options. She recommended the Deluxe King room. What a difference! It was a much larger room, well appointed, sleek and elegant. Super shower and modern bathroom. I appreciate the TV options as well, all provided for free, as was the wi-fi. The in house restaurant and bar seemed very pleasant but did not try it due to previous plans. I saw what was being brought up to a guest from room service and it looked delicious! Free fruit offering was very nice, as was the warm cookie upon arrival. I do have to say though, it would have received 5 stars had it not been for the inconsistency of front desk employees attitudes. Megan stood out as engaging and friendly with service above and beyond. When the night shift gentleman came on board, he seemed annoyed, quiet and "put out" when asked about whether they sold milk in the little lobby market? Upon checking out the next morning, two other employees were at the front desk. They seemed professional and nice, but hardly smiled.

Lovely place! Spotless, great staff, amazing beds and spacious rooms. Situated at the Pruneyard mall. Lots of eateries and even the internal hotel restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Thanks for the great nights sleep!
