It was dark inside.... Yay. The buffalo wings were too caulifloweree Good food. Sports on TV. Yay.

The service from one of the older (shorter) ladies always puts a damper on the experience. she's consistently in a bad mood and acts like serving customers is a burden. The drinks are strong, so you generally get your money's worth, but if you ask for a drink to be remade because it tastes off, she gets visibly annoyed, which makes the experience uncomfortable.

ehhhh? lady said we could sit anywhere outside so we were looking around to see which one we wanted to sit at - don't think we were standing for more than 10 seconds & she says to just choose one lol anyways we chose a seat & menu wasnt super extensive - I forgot to take a pic tho sausages - 4/10 didn't taste like much, kinda hot tho mule - 6/10 standard mule Skittles (cocktail) - 2/10 tasted like candy that was diluted in water lol meatballs 5/10 - standard meatballs? not bad but not amazing idk

We come here occasionally for trivia night. I like this trivia because it's really fast paced and you get a lot more questions asked than most places. The drinks and food are usually pretty good as well!

I had to organize a work happy hour and reached out to Katie Blooms. They don't have a menu online and sometimes when I would try to call them I would have to call multiple times to get through to confirm our reservation. The day we had our event planned for, it was pouring, so it worked out for us because the bar was mostly empty except for us. I was able to easily open up a bar tab and order appetizers for the team. Everybody also decided to order food. Drinks were great and food with standard bar fare.

The service here is really awful. You look around the tables and no one has any food. I'll start from the beginning. I came in and sat down on a couch near the front. I asked if I had to wait to be seated or just sit anywhere and she said sit anywhere. I said OK. I had my computer and so I asked her for the Internet password which she gave me. She did not offer me a menu or anything else. I let her go and figured she would return to ask me if I wanted to order anything or at least get a drink but she did not. I waved her down and she ignored me. I went up to the bar about 20 minutes later and I said may I have the menu and a glass of water with lemon. She handed me the menu at the bar. I read the menu at my table. I waited about ten minutes and she went to the back so as soon as I saw her, I walked to the bar and was greeted by a look of irritation. I told her I was ready to order. She nodded and said OK what would you like. I told her I wanted a grilled cheese sandwich, a side of mashed potatoes, and a glass of water with lemon. After another 10 minutes, she brought me a glass of water. By this time we're about an hour and 10 in and I still don't have any food. Finally, she brings my food and water with no lemon. I went back up to the bar and asked her for the lemon, the check, and a to go box. I had to get it in a to go box because I didn't have time to eat it there at that point. At this point, I felt exasperated and annoyed. Instead of it being an enjoyable evening out, I felt on edge, desperate, and anxious. I sat and waited another 15 minutes before I asked again for the to go box and check. I followed her to the register and grabbed my things. I could not wait to leave. Oh and lastly.....I am a black woman. I could easily pin this on racism but I actually do not think it was about the color of my skin. When I looked around the restaurant, most of the guests were indeed white, but 7 out of 8 tables of folks did not have any food, and I saw them continuously looking around for help. While I was waiting for my to go box and check, I watched a couple of men walk in and wait for about 10 minutes to even be greeted. I also read other reviews. Some were good but the ones that were bad were quoting issues similar to mine. If you want to go to a restaurant that has decent ambience and okay food, but literally zero customer service, go here. You will likely will be ignored and do a lot of self service and walking back and forth to stalk the waitress. Personally... It's a no thank you for me.

Fish and chips were delicious (and a generous portion). Decent selection of draft beer, although no Boddington's anymore. Staff was hustling on an incredibly busy night. Patrons were a little rambunctious, but hey, it's the holidays! Two steel-tip dartboards, which ought to be required by law for any Irish pub.

First time trying Katie Blooms despite walking past it a handful of times and was pleasantly surprised. It never seems very busy which probably was why it was personally overlooked it all those times. The service isn't bad by any means, a bit relaxed but that's alright. Tried the Philly cheesesteak (wanted to compare it to Water Tower Kitchen down the street) and it was pretty great, tender steak, soft roll, would definitely order again.

I had no idea that there was a place like Katie Blooms in Campbell. I was used to the crowd at Cardiff which typically is a little older and plays primarily house music (nothing wrong with that btw). Walking into Katie Blooms, seeing the place packed and hearing newer music was a nice change of pace. It's not a bar I'd expect amazing cocktails from but you can for sure get yourself a call drink and I'm sure it'll get the job done. Hot dog man is stationed right outside the venue and there is also a outdoor patio if you need some air at any point. It was a quick stop and I didn't spend too much time here but I think it's worth checking out.
