The Pruneyard!?!? I can't believe I lived in the Bay for over 20 years and I am only now experiencing this magical place with magical restaurants! :) Went to Luna's for lunch with my business partner and an amazing business associate today. This morning. Well, late morning, we got there at 11:30. Plenty of tables, looks like the morning crowd was just finishing up breakfast. By the time we left though the place was full! On a Monday. Apparently a lot of people had the case of the "Mondays" which prompted them to eat amazing Mexican food to get them out of their slump lol. Because we all know Mexican food cures everything! :) Upon arrival, the restaurant was super authentic looking, had all the appropriate decor along with classic and traditional glasswares and classic coffee mugs. Porcelain and colorful mugs, I was sold. Plenty of vibrant colors, the patio was divine! Everything they served was made in house, so I was told. Oh man, those chips and salsa's were freakin' unreal, to say the least. And I have to admit the price points seem really fair. Now this ain't no El Torrrito's or "On the border." Lunas was the real effin deal when it came to being an "upscale" close to fine dining Mexican cuisine sort of restaurant. The food presentation along with table service was pretty on point! Infants, beyond on point! Our server was kinds, attentive, super accommodating and professional. Actually, just to say a little more about him, he was incredibly accommodating and kind. Although he was pretty busy, I, for one, super appreciated him always stopping by just to make sure we had everything we needed and he was quick to begin the bussing portion just so we would have a comfortable business meeting. Luna has always been one of our favorite spots it's truly top-notch. The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently great, and their drinks are usually outstanding. When we lived just three blocks away, we ordered from Luna every Friday through the pandemic. Since moving away, it's still a must-visit every time we're back in Campbell. Unfortunately, tonight was the first time our experience fell short. We brought our 3- and 5-year-olds, which can be challenging, but in the past, the staff has always been incredibly attentive and accommodating -- helping us get our meals quickly and making dining with kids stress-free. The is the only restaurant we go to and say this is AMAZING for kids and adults! ALWAYS has been enjoyed! Tonight, service was unusually slow and inattentive. Our waiter rarely checked in, and we had to ask another server for our check and even for utensils, which I was given at the front but plastic! We ordered the Lunrita, which we always do and always 100% good, tonight it was disappointing -- it tasted like it had been made in bulk and lacked consistency. When we mentioned it to the manager, they were polite and open to feedback, but we were still charged $24 for drinks we didn't enjoy. I didn't mention anything until I was finished and said to my husband it wasn't not good, I am going to order another and then it got into a conversation of we should say something, as I thought it was just me. I was so proud he spoke up--he never does! I said no, but he felt strongly enough to say something. So I agreed. My son is very picky and his meal looked sloppy, I asked for quesadilla and black beans We were served black beans, refined beans and uncut quesadilla (last time it was cut perfectly!) so he ate the black beans and chips for dinner-- I was sad because it was sloppy and as a 3-year old he didn't eat his meal, I would have asked for another plate but waited for a few minutes to ask for another plate BUT never saw our waiter. Ugh. We still love Luna and hope this was just an off night, but two takeaways for future visits: Outdoor seating tends to be much better for families. Skip the Lunarita -- the Cadillac margarita is the better choice it made by hand b/c if you do get bulk and you don't speak right away THEY WILL CHARGE YOU. We'll be back, but we hope the experience returns to the high standard we've always known and loved.

LUNA's Almaden branch received a Michelin bib mention a few years ago and their Campbell location lives up to it! LUNA gives you free chips hot off the fryers. And they make their corn tortillas from freshly ground corn. I recommend their Quesadilla Fritas De Picadillo, which resembles more like a taco than the typical quesadilla. Fish tacos were really good too! You can "taste the ocean." The fajitas presentation top-tier since it came out on cast iron over butane flame. Overall, service was very attentive and the meal itself was very reasonable for what you get

Tried the cochinita pibil and it was delicious. The meat was soft and tender. The Mexican rice was also cooked perfectly, fluffy and well seasoned. The ambience was nice, with low lighting that gave it a warm and cozy vibe. I also like how they have indoor and outdoor bars, which makes it a great spot for dinner or a casual night out. Customer service was great, our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food took less than 10 minutes to arrive. Clean restaurant. Great decor. Plenty of parking.

While going on an early morning grocery run, we stumbled upon this restaurant! We weren't originally planning to sit down at a restaurant for breakfast but the beautiful decor and ambiance caused us to say why not ?? We were seated quickly and got our menus. They also gave us some complimentary chips and salsa which were delicious! For it being early in the morning, there was quite a lot of people sitting outdoors already. The menu had a lot of different options. I really appreciated how they labeled the gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito (with beans on the side and no cheese) and the plato de chorizo con huevos. The burrito was yummy! It had eggs, spinach, spicy salsa, sweet potato, and spinach in it! The salsa def had a kick to it. The chorizo dish came with two house made tortillas! It was definitely filling and delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant and am happy to have came across it.

This place caught our eyes thanks to the vibe that was absolutely gorgeous and lively. We were here on a Friday night. Although the host said it'd be a 45-min wait, they were able to seat us after just 15 min. We ordered the Mixed Grill chico for 2 since that seems to be something everyone ordered. The dish was very beautifully displayed. I guess it didn't fit our palette, as we found it quite heavy and greasy with so much meat and protein. If we come back, we'd try something else.

Lovely date night experience. We hardly go out to eat these days... it's pricey and often just okay. But Luna reignited our joy for dining out! The food was delicious Mexican food, and the cocktails were boozy and well balanced. We enjoyed the deluxe mixed grill and the ceviche which was more on the citrusy side (my preference). What made our experience stand out was the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and incredibly sweet to us and our dog. Our waiter was funny, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend Luna!

The ambiance of this place was moody but nice! They have an indoor and outdoor seating and they both seemed like good options! We were a party of 13, but got split to nearby tables. They do not do reservations, and their largest table can fit 10 people we were told. We got a variety of food and drinks. I got the sangria which had juices and banana juice in it and you can actually taste the banana, it was pretty good! The complimentary salsa was good, I liked the green one because it had a kick to it! The apps I tried were the ceviche and bacon wrapped shrimp and I thought both were good! My main dish was the pozole rojo which is not on the menu, it is a limited seasonal dish. I thought it was really good and it had a lot of flavor. Overall our food and service was good, I would come back here!

Came down (from San Leandro) for a spur of the moment date night. We've been in the past and really wanted another taste. The Pruneyard location offers the best parking options, and plenty to walk around and check out while we waited for our table. We were flexible about sitting inside or outside. Originally quoted about 35 min- it was closer to 25. We sat on the patio and the heat lamps pet's up plenty warm. Food was delicious as always- my coworkers were jealous when I brought my leftovers this week. Highly recommend the quac with chicharrones! I tried the chile relleno- I'm not a big fan of peas. But couldn't taste them and they went well with the dish. Hubby got the chicken mole enchiladas. He was happy. Service was good, although they were quite busy so things did take a little time. But was within reason.

This place is popular! From the time we got there to the time we left, there was never not a line of people waiting to dine there. Staff and Service: - We came at 5:00pm and were able to get a table within 10 minutes - Our waitress was very kind and patient with us (big, indecisive group when it came to ordering) Food and Drinks: - Queso Flameado: basically, a queso fundido. We got this with chorizo. It comes with two tortillas, but you can request more for free - Enchiladas Suizas: flavorful with the tomatillo sauce and the sides. One person in the group ordered this with red sauce and said that was good as well - Chocoflan: sweet and delicious. Can easily be a dessert for one, or shared if you don't want a ton of sweets Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via shared parking lot that surrounds the Pruneyard, as well as a parking structure - Good for small and larger groups (saw a table being set up for 9 people) - Indoor and outdoor dining available
