I enjoyed dinner at Marufuku Ramen in Campbell last night with my wife, son (and his family), and my daughter-in-law's Dad. My first interaction was with a young woman at the welcome desk. She greeted me warmly and immediately set up a table for eight -- five adults and three children (ages 5, 4, and 2). The food was amazing -- edamame, gyoza, tori-momo, rice, salad, chicken tonkatsu, ramen bowls, and children's karaage chicken dinners. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The service provided by the Marufuku staff was exceptional. Without exception, everyone was helpful, friendly, and professional. What a joy to experience such an amazing team working together to provide top-rate service for customers. I am grateful for a first-class dining experience for my family and me.

Came here on a Saturday night and experienced a wait time of about 40 minutes. We ended up getting a seat at the bar. Note you can ONLY order alcohol inside, and my dining companion wanted a sake. There were notable vegetarian options, including a ramen, a curry, and several skewers. We got the ramen no egg, the curry, and the okra and trumpet mushroom skewers. We both loved our meals and found them to be ample servings that were aesthetically displayed and very flavorful. I got the medium spicy ramen and it was very tame, which the bartender explained was related to the Japanese milder standards. The curry had perfectly cooked Kabocha squash and eggplant, and they were placed on the side so their flavors could shine separately from the curry sauce. This is definitely one of the better vegetarian ramens I've had in the Bay Area.

Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Service was outstanding! This Marufuku location has the best ambiance of any ramen restaurant I've ever been. It's my new fave, I think. Although it didn't cause a loss of a star, I wish the A5 Wagyu Maze Soba special had larger bits of Wagyu. I realize Wagyu is expensive, but the bits were so tiny you had to pick them off the bottom of the bowl at the end of the meal. (I suggest using the spoon method of eating ramen with this particular recipe.) The flavors from the Wagyu juices, combined with some of the oil and vinegar, is just delicious! I hope it makes its way to the regular menu!

Came in on a Saturday evening and was able to easily get seated in the beautiful heated outdoor patio for a party of 8 on arrival. Our server Sabrina and crew were all very friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the attention for the kids, including bringing out kids plates and silverwares. With the kid options and gashapon reward, this is a very kid friendly spot. The spicy chicken wing and ika geso were both on par with good quality japanese spots. The chicken ramen had a decent flavor broth but felt like it lacked depth and didn't have too many toppings in it beyond two slices of meat and the noodles. The thinner noodle type isn't my particular favorite, but the ramen overall is above average and enjoyable for most.

Easy check in but great option to check in via Yelp wait time was short. Outdoor tables available, booths and tables inside. Food was okay, gyoza was definitely my favorite. I had the Hakata Tonkotsu DX the egg was perfect, noodles cooked just right

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this place. The service was amazing, particularly Lucas who checked on us frequently and the chef who came out to discuss improvements. Even though she remade one of the dishes, the food unfortunately missed the mark. The tonkotsu ramen lacked the depth and umami you'd expect from a proper broth. Adding more tare would've only made it saltier - we didn't even bother using spoons since the soup clinging to the noodles was already too much. Getting the thin ramen didn't help much either. The cha shu was dry even when eaten immediately. I feel like it needed to be cooked at a lower temp or less salted since it has the texture of too much moisture coming out of the meat - kinda like adobada meat that's been sitting in a taco stand's warmer for too long. The skewers not good. The beef was extremely chewy, probably from a poor cut and drowning in overly salty yakitori sauce. The pork belly was tender but again, too salty. While the scallop skewers were our table's favorite, the scallops were overwhelmed by mayo (though better when scraped off). Both chicken options - breast and thigh - were overcooked and dry. They might want to check meat temperatures more frequently. I personally prefer a moist skewer over a perfectly charred but dry one any day (though both would be nice). The takoyaki was standard, but the fried items needed serious work. The squid karaage first arrived with pasty, undercooked batter. When remade, the batter was crispy but the squid was overcooked and crunchy. The chicken karaage had the same pasty batter issue - while I'm fine with pink chicken if properly pasteurized, the undercooked batter didn't inspire confidence. They need to check their batter recipe or oil temperatures. The tuna crudo was particularly disappointing. It had that freezer-burnt, spongey, grainy texture that's immediately noticeable. Using the lean part of the tuna didn't help, giving it an iron-like aftertaste instead of the richness you'd get from fattier cuts like chutoro. While the 10/10 service shows real dedication to improvement, the kitchen needs to address fundamental issues with seasoning, cooking temperatures, and food quality.

After only a 15 minute wait on a Friday night the 3 of us were kindly seated by the friendly host. We could smell the food as soon as we entered and were ready to order. We both got the spicy Tonkotsu Dx , the beef skewers, chicken karage, and kids tonkotsu ramen. The ramen flavor was on point, not salty like other ramen places, and the small bites were delicious!

So happy Marafuku Ramen opened in Campbell! Got to the location at 11:15 AM on a Sunday. There were already a few groups waiting for the opening bell. We were seated within a couple of minutes of opening. The restaurant is quite spacious and includes outdoor seating that overlooks the Pruneyard Plaza outdoor lounge area. The waitress helped us in understanding the variations in the broths and flavors of the different Ramen options. Among the appetizers, we enjoyed the Gyoza and Scallop skewers. Hope to try the Spicy chicken wings in future visits. Loved the Spicy Miso Tantanmen, must have!! The creaminess of the broth goes well with the noodles.

My husband and I checked out Marufuku Ramen about the time it opened on a Sunday. There was already a group of people waiting to be seated, but we arrived early enough to get a seat. We sat inside the restaurant, which was pretty nice. I could see into the bar area, and it was bright and inviting as well. Overall service was great. The food came out really fast after we ordered, which made me think that they want guests in and out. That said, our server didn't treat us like a number despite how busy we were. He took the time to explain the menu to us and ask for our feedback after the meal. We kicked things off with the shrimp tempura bao. My husband said the shrimp and mayo reminded him of Nobu's rock shrimp, which was quite the compliment. I thought it was fine, certainly a solid starter. I got the Chicken Paitan with medium spiciness, and my husband got the Spicy Tan Tan Men. We both loved our respective bowls but also agreed that the other's ramen was fantastic too. You honestly couldn't go wrong with either. The Chicken Paitan was the most comforting bowl of chicken noodle soup. The broth was creamy and flavorful, the chicken breast chashu was tender, the soft boiled egg wasn't runny in the center, and I loved the thin rice noodles. The Spicy Tan Tan Men had a nuttier flavor to it. I think the "medium" spice level wasn't spicy at all, so I'll kick up the heat for next time. After today's lunch, Marufuku instantly became our favorite ramen spot in the South Bay.
