As a Philly native, it's incredibly difficult to find a restaurant that makes a decent cheesesteak outside of Philly. However, I can confidently say that New Jersey's makes the best Philly cheesesteaks in the Bay Area. The restaurant itself is kind of divey and the service isn't exactly the most friendly but their cheesesteaks are so good. The bread is soft and the meat is tender. They also have the option for you to have them made with whiz. IYKYK.

I like this spot. I'd come here to just hang out, watch some sports and get some drinks. The bartender was nice and quick. We ordered (shared) the cherry pepper cheesesteak - 7.5/10 I've had a handful of hoagies to compare so I'd say personally it lacked a bit of flavoring and the meat ratio was too much, would have liked it a little cheesier. The wings were good 8.5/10 they were meaty, not fatty and cooked the way I liked them. The sauce was spicy perfect. Type of ranch matters to me - this was one not thick or too watery. Asked the bartender to make a hard lemonade w tequila - she delivered. Great combo. Definitely will be coming back.

I got the combo Philly and it was good, I wish they toasted the bread, that's my only thing. They fill the sandwiches to the brim with meat mushrooms and bell peppers and I left feeling stuffed. On the side I ordered a large garlic fries and curly fries. I just wanted the garlic fries a bit more crispy but overall a solid sandwich and sides. Service was very accommodating, they bring the food to the table and it's a classic bar atmosphere. I was hesitant to give this place a 3/5 I would say more along the 3.75 range.

I was having a good experience with Chris. We were talking about various topics. Until this woman started yelling at her about talking with customers. I was completely shocked at the lack of professionalism that she was doing. Chastising Chris right in front of me. Terrible thing to do. I don't know if it was the alcohol, but it was uncalled for and unpleasant. I was going to give them 5 stars too.

It is Saturday and there are about 5 people here at 8:40pm. Most of the people know the bartender who works here for her sister who owns the place. I played the juke box. It was so quiet I could barely hear it over another customer watching a soccer game on his phone. I asked her why it was so quiet. I asked, "Is it because this is the first song played on it today?" She said, "Huh." and ignored me. Not good service, but a nice place. I've heard the food is good.

Food is amazing, staff get the job done quick, and a lot of tv, food, & drink options. A lot of seating as well if you're bringing your F&F to eat & watch a game.

I liked the ambience. Small neighborhood sports bar in the middle of Suburbia, across the street from yet another nondescript giant strip mall. I hope small businesses like this stay alive. I went during a trivia game so the place was pretty packed. It was fun. I got the Cheese Steak. I liked it a lot. The food took a long time to get to me (I think maybe they forgot or lost the order). But I didn't mind simply because I got lost in the trivia and the cheeriness of the place. I'll knock off a point for the slow service. But all in all, I had a good time.

I thought I'd try this place from mostly positive reviews. What a waste of my money! I prefer to support local businesses but this one should have been shut down before I walked in... 3 words sum it up: old, outdated, and awful. All 3 describe the inside, service, and food. The entire place desperately needs a deep clean and remodel. There is 0 customer service skills as the servers ignored us. There were only like 5 other people inside lol Guess that's busy for them? It took forever to put the order in and the old woman is especially rude. Then when we got the barely warm food it's like biting into a saltine cracker. Our meats were dry and salty! The only thing decent ordered were the fries which ironically lacked salt lmao. The burgers and steak sandwich were terrible. It was a mix of overcooked dried meat, grease, and salt. Ridiculous considering how long it took to get a order in the first place. Don't waste your time here.
