Starbird is one of my favorite crispy chicken sandwich shops as they are one of the more healthier options. Saw their new menu items and decided to try them out. Indian Hotbird sandwich - 10/10 - favorite since its spices and flavor are balanced with their slices of cucumber. Indian Hotbird tenders - 6/10 - it's alright. Since it's just dressing, onions and spices, the flavor gets overwhelming. Masala street fries - 7/10 - I think they should include more onions. There's a lot of spices so the masala flavor is there but the "street" aspect is lacking.

Can I just say that I am IN LOVE with the StarBird salads? OH MY GOSH. The Elote Chop Salad is my absolute favorite. I love it so much I make sure I get at least one, once a month. lol. I love their salads so much I recently got my mom hooked on them too. lol. #FamilySaladRun I was so surprised when we stumbled upon this location in Pruneyard, I never knew they had a Starbird here. I was super happy to find this place nearby because I had some rewards to use. We ordered an Elote Chop Salad, Chicken Chop Salad, 10 piece nuggets, and some Churros. The Elote Chop Salad was IMPECCABLY DELICIOUS as always. It's really perfection. I love it. I also decided to add an extra order of chicken on top and wow! There was a giant mountain of chicken on top of the salad, we were both very impressed. lol. This time I decided to try three new items. First I tried the Chicken Chop Salad and it was great! Super filling, delicious, and very high quality chicken + ingredients. I did switch out the orange sauce because it was a bit too sweet and I also prefer the green cilantro sauce. It was perfect with the green salad sauce, yummy! Secondly we tried the Chicken Nuggets and WOW you can definitely taste how high quality the chicken is with its delicious crispiness + seasonings. We paired the chicken nuggets with honey chipotle bbq, and the aïoli sauce. I forget the correct name (sorry) but the aioli sauce reminded me of a honey mustard, yet my mom said it has mayo vibes. Either way it pairs great with the nuggets for a light flavor boost. The honey chipotle bbq sauce was nice also. The last new thing we tried was the Starbird Churros. They were definitely interesting, yet yummy! They look like classic churros but they are small oval shapes and they have a light spicey ness added to them which really surprised me. lol. Also the Starbird Churros come with dip that tastes exactly like maple syrup. It's a very interesting combo for sure and I think it is great if you have a sweet tooth, (but if you don't like sweetness skip the syrup sauce for sure. lol.) Overall we enjoyed everything we ate here and I HIGHLY recommend Starbird salads to everyone because I loveeee their salads so much! lol. The workers here at the Campbell location were all very helpful and nice as well. There was also plenty of seating when we arrived and a very convenient order screen with the peoples names that I found very helpful. I also noticed this is a SUPER BUSY location. When we got there it was very modest like maybe 5/6 people in the whole place, but when we left it was PACKED like 15-20. lol. Seems like they get busier at night time. Business is definitely booming here. Although I love the salads and admire the amazing QUALITY of food at Starbird I took off one star for the same thing I didn't like previously. My only complaint is the same one that I always have with Starbird, I really dislike how the tables aren't cleaned in between patrons. It gives me a little bit of anxiety knowing I'm eating on an un-sanitized table tbh. My mom said the same thing and she's not even a germaphobic person like me. lol. I think it would be nice solution if there was at least prepackaged wipes on the tables for patrons to use themselves if the staff is too busy.. This is a very small but important detail for our dining experience. So personally as a solution for us my mom said we will bring our own cleaning wipes the next time we come because we love the salads that much. lol. Also the price is a bit hefty but you're definitely paying for HIGH QUALITY chicken so there's that. :)

While staying at the Double Tree, we decided to walk over to the Pruneyard to find a place to eat. We spotted Starbird Chicken and went inside to look at the menu on the kiosks. They gave a little of everything so we could all eat! We ordered a Gardenbird, House Fries, Elote Corn, 3 Tenders, a Kids Meal with Nuggets and House Fries. We picked the Star Sauce and Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce. Our order was ready fairly quick. Everything was super fresh and crispy! Definitely hit the spot!

A new go to stop on our "what can we order for take out that we won't immediately launch into a shame spiral from that ruins the whole weekend even if we DO actually get up early the next day, and go to the gym without forgetting to download something to watch on Netflix, because the gym wifi is garbage and I'm not streaming over cellular after the last overage I got"... particularly the salads, but if you are hitting the gym and have the calorie bank, go for the boneless nuggets, the Nashville hot with the blue cheese dip were noice.

A fan of Starbird Chicken and glad to see one close to home. I ordered off the app, but was having trouble ordering my second dish off the app so the manager helped me in person. I really appreciated their attention to it and the orders were ready so quick even during a busy lunch rush. Ample seating inside and plenty outside. I am really loving their Green Goddess salad as it has all my favorite toppings like gorgonzola cheese, a perfect hard boiled egg and pickled onions. The watermelon radish on it is very nice too! Friends love their chop salad too. A lot of food for a very reasonable price!

I decided to revisit Starbird to give it a second chance after my last visit, which was disappointing due to the busy holiday season. This time, I wanted to ensure the chicken sandwich was served hot and fresh, so I ordered one sandwich via the app and another in-store to compare. I ordered the Parm Grilled Chicken sandwich. The app ordering process was confusing and overly complicated. I picked up the app order 2-3 minutes after it was marked as ready, but the grilled chicken was dry and, even worse, cold. It seemed like the chicken was pre-grilled without any effort to keep it warm--very disappointing. As for the sandwich I ordered in-store, I picked it up immediately after it was prepared, but to my surprise, it was also cold! This experience completely shattered my confidence in this location. Unfortunately, it failed to redeem itself on the second visit. Starbird is now officially on my blacklist

Fowl Language ***Doordash® Review*** Cali-based (ca. 2016) chicken joint that specializes in fried chicken sandwiches and salads featuring everyone's favorite poultry. They currently have seventeen restaurants, fourteen of which are in NorCal and three in SoCal, with out-of-state expansions anticipated later this year in Salt Lake City & Chicago. I had a $50 credit for DD burning a hole in my digital wallet, so we thought we'd take Fri night off and order some delivery. The Good: *Order arrived fairly expeditiously, as it was placed at 4:52 p.m. & at my door by 5:13 p.m. which includes the ±10min drive from The Pruneyard to my place. *Order was accurate *Salads are HUGE and they give you a shit-ton of chicken. Salad greens and produce were fresh and not wilted. *Even with the DD upcharge, pricing wasn't horrible as you do get a lot of food. The Meh: *Fries arrived really soggy, but a few minutes in the air fryer saved the day. They were a bit underseasoned for my liking, but that's easily remedied. *Chicken was just ai'ight. I thought it was too salty and a touch dry, but still edible. It did have a nice crunch, tho. *I don't understand why the online store doesn't give you the option to change dressing on your salad type. I get that they've pre-selected it, but why not allow us, the consumers, to change it up to something different? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Ugly: *My son is obsessed with truffles, so ofc he had to get the truffle fries, which is whatever. My issue is they packed them in the same bag as the regular fries and churros, so now everyone is having truffle scented fries and churros. 0_o Conclusion: Good salads, but next time we might try their grilled chicken option instead of the fried.

Food was good but the cost isn't worth it. For $12 I got an average-sized chicken sandwich. The thai chicken salad was $17 and filling but consists of mostly vegetables and around ~2 tenders worth of chicken. Service was normal and the location was clean. There is outdoor seating under a tree at this location so the ambiance while eating was great! As someone who values protein and volume per dollar, Starbird will not be a top pick for me. The chicken patty with my sandwich was small and left me wanting more. For $12 for just a sandwich, no beverage or fries, I'd go elsewhere.

The chicken was not as hot as I would think for Nashville, but I'm kind of glad because I didn't want to be too spicy. But the strips themselves were cooked perfectly and the meat is just so juicy and delicious. The brussels sprouts were amazing. I would get them over and over again. The corn had some good seasoning, but I wish it was a little creamer. Maybe some sour cream would've been good.
