Cute little coffee shop with hands down the best iced latte I've ever had--the Chailo Latte. The barista was friendly and offered suggestions. Great outdoor seating. Make this your go-to coffee shop!

If you're tired of the typical coffee shop that promises unique and diverse flavors but rarely delivers, you need to stop by Chailo Coffee Club. It only took me one visit, during their soft launch, to get completely hooked. I've been a regular ever since! Even as a relatively new spot, they've consistently surprised me with their creative drink options and fun community events. From movie nights to F1 screenings, this place truly embodies what a neighborhood coffee shop should be. The staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each drink and let you know exactly what to expect. Huge shoutout to Joey, who's been experimenting with alternative syrup-making methods using natural and organic ingredients, and you can definitely taste the difference. My go-to drink is the BBL (Banana Bread Latte), and saying it tastes like actual banana bread is honestly an understatement. They recently added breakfast burritos to the menu, which are perfect for a quick bite, along with the yummy pastries. The shop itself is spacious, with plenty of outlets for working or studying, and there's also a good amount of outdoor seating. Whether you're here to work, hang out, or just grab a coffee, Chailo Coffee Club is absolutely worth a visit.

Chailo. They took over the Vegan burger spot in Costa Mesa. Had lots of parking. Plenty of outdoor space. Plenty of seating inside. Lots of potential to be a great coffee shop. Service was excellent. Owners super nice. Very passionate about this project Coffee got myself an iced vanilla latte made with house made syrups. Drink was pretty good. I did want a little more vanilla flavor. But overall a good latte. This place just made me want a little more. I wanted it to feel more like a coffee shop. Once they get the experience down. It will hopefully get to its full potential.

As a Director of Marketing, I always take note of how businesses create customer experiences and unfortunately, this visit really missed the mark. I asked for a sugar-free chai and was told they don't offer that, was given a replacement drink that they suggest I would like. The drink was overwhelmingly sweet and felt like sugar on a cup with ice and pink coloring. Had to throw it out once I walked out. While I tried to get some work done, the girls behind the counter were loudly laughing and talking, which made it hard to focus. The contrast between that and how customers were treated was noticeable my drink was placed on the table with no eye contact or acknowledgment. Short with customers but loud amongst themselves. I usually love supporting and sharing local spots, especially on my social media accounts, but I couldn't bring myself to do that here. Small businesses rely on great service and consistency to build loyalty. I hope this feedback helps the team grow.

I was sad to see Nice Burger shut down, but Chailo is the perfect concept to fill the gaping hole in my heart. I visited for the first time a few weeks back and was so impressed by their unique menu of chai. I've always been a chai fan, but sometimes avoid ordering the beverage because I need more caffeine. Chailo has got you covered. These bevies are heavily caffeinated, so you can sip on these fall vibes while powering up. The inside has a decent number of seats, but they're very low on outlets. There's also an enclosed patio, but the nearby street is a bit too noisy for working, imo. Also, can we talk about its proximity to the local Goodwill? Thrifting with a latte in hand is my idea of the perfect weekend. I'd recommend visiting pre-or-post thrift. Excited to return to explore more of the menu. The rose and cream chai sounds absolutely incredible. You'll find me here all fall.

Chailo is a small coffee shop located near Triangular Square in Costa Mesa. They have indoor seating as well as patio seating. The decor is a bit minimalistic and could definitely use some work. The 1 or 2 dessert options they had here looked disappointing. Kashmiri Chai ($6) - Rich, creamy, and not overly sweet. It's a comforting drink that I have made at home. I do wish that they had included a sprinkle of pistachio nuts as well as some biscuits to dip in it it. Overall, I did enjoy my drink and my co-workers enjoyed there drinks as well (Spanish Latte). Overall my experience here was 3.5 but I'm rounding them up to 4 because they are a new business. Hopefully they will have some better sweet offerings in the near future like milk cakes, cheese cakes, baklava, etc.

I always fancy myself a delicious warm cup of chai (fresh milk tea with spices) and Chailo delivers none other than that! A fairly new business in Costa Mesa, Chailo certainly delivers and is a great new spot for your caffeine run! The House Chai here is great and really made me feel at home! It has a perfect balance of tea, milk, and spices and not overly sweet just the way I enjoy it. The Chailo Latte also hit the spot as it provided great flavor with a strong yet refreshing taste of espresso. I also really loved how aesthetically peaceful the interior is designed. The baristas were super friendly and they truly cared about our quality of drinks and that was awesome! As a believer and fond lover of chai and tea drinks, I sincerely wish this establishment the best of luck and hope to see more spots serving up homemade style chai and coffee drinks arise throughout Orange County!

Really wanted to like this place but the experience wasn't good. They don't serve decaf so I just got a cookie, which was greasy. The pastries were weirdly displayed in run down looking glass cases. Everything seemed very overpriced for the vibe of the place. The staff was not very friendly, seemed like teenagers that were mostly interested in talking with the group of friends that were all hanging out behind the counter. The ambiance could have been kinda cool, but our seats were located right in line with an air vent that was blasting freezing cold air onto us the entire time. Much better places for the money in the area!

Shlonak recommended this spot, so I decided to check it out with my family during their Eid Special. We tried a variety of their treats -- all halal and absolutely delicious. The Spanish latte and hojicha latte were especially tasty. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the staff couldn't have been kinder. They have placed heaters on their patio to keep customers warm, which is a thoughtful touch. This is a great spot to bring family and friends for a late night treat or to get some studying done during the day. With amazing drinks and exceptionally patient staff, I'm excited to see how this establishment continues to grow. I look forward to come back and explore more of the menu.
