it's a rarity that I post reviews, however, for this Cozy little gem I have to. I have a lot of positive things to say about the Cozy in Inn. however, I'm going to condense it like Campbell's so it's not too boring, and vanilla. I give it a true five-star rating for the experience, Value, location, customer service, and everything a little cozy motel should be. As I was waiting for my house to be ready, I chose this cool little place because...#1: I love saving moneyand #2 The Cozy Inn has many positive reviews and a high ratings I look for before booking a night anywhere. I truly want to thank the owners for always being there on the property ready to assist, and being so kind. It is not the Ritz-Carlton, nor is it supposed to be. This is by far in my opinion, the best budget motel in Orange County. The name says it all from the beds to the spacious rooms with refrigerators, microwaves, satellite television, a comfy bed, I could go on for days. For me the best part was the way I felt upon arrival, until my departure thanks to the amazing staff. Let's just say it was super COZY to say the least. Thanks again to all the employees that were so nice, friendly, and accommodating with all of my extra needs. You guys are truly rock stars! Keep up the great work, and I will hopefully see you soon. This was not a clean hotel room. The sign in the front office states that they will charge you for not keeping the linens white. However, all of our towels and washcloths had stains on them. We ended up going to Walmart and buying our own washcloths. The door handle was on backwards. Food behind the beds. Dirty walls. They had less than half of a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom for a 2 night stay. We had to ask the front desk for more toilet paper. No ice machine!! We had to pay for ice at the gas station next door. At least there was a small fridge and freezer in the room. The option in the shower to switch from tub to shower was broken. We could hear the neighbors every time they used the bathroom. No plunger in the sink. NO hot water.

Horribly cheap. They charge extra for 30 mins early, no cable box or remote, the bed was caved in, they knock on your door to the minute during check out and their only apology is to offer 10% off during the NEXT stay (as if)

Do not stay here. This is probably one of the most disgusting hotels I've ever been to. They make you sign a paper saying that you will not stain their towels or sheets yet they provide you with ripped and stained towels and sheets. There are holes in the walls, the headboard is chipped, the furniture is chipped, and there are random patches of different color paints. The entry door is disgusting as well as the bathroom door. I asked for a new blanket because the one they provided was ripped in many places as well as stained, and they gave me a new one that had a shoe footprint on it. The carpets were stained, and the shower would not stop leaking no matter how much I tightened the faucet. As I was walking out to let them know that I am checking out after two hours and asking for a refund, a police officer was in the parking lot and asked me if I heard anyone arguing. I said no, but I am checking out and he said it was a good idea that I leave. I asked if this was an unsafe hotel and he said they often get calls there. I booked this on Expedia and wish I would have checked Yelp for reviews beforehand. Lastly, they don't provide washcloths or even a phone in the room. This place needs to be shut down.

Stay clear. There's bed bugs and no tv. Make sure you sleep with all your clothes on. The bed felt like a board was being used t support the mattress. I did not feel safe. There was no lock on the door.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My husband booked a room through Expedia, we pulled into the parking lot that was full of dirt, trash and homeless. The concierge took a $50 security deposit and after receiving the key to our room the first thing we noticed was a broken window screen. The room was disgusting! Dirt on the walls, old yucky beds and broken furniture. We immediately requested a refund and were DENIED! We also have not been refunded our security deposit and we did not even stay 10 minutes!! Beware!!

If you're looking for budget-friendly accommodations, I'd suggest paying an extra $20-$30 elsewhere for a much better experience. This place was a JOKE! Upon arrival at 4:30 PM, the reception door was locked. When the employee finally opened it, he let it shut behind him without welcoming us and was outright rude. As someone who works in customer service, I was shocked. They charge you a $50 deposit and give conflicting information on when you'll get it back--one receipt said 3-5 business days, another said 5-10 business days. I'll be following up given the other reviews on this. The room itself was disgusting. There was a used soap in the shower, the floor hadn't been swept, and the bedsheets didn't seem fresh. Worst of all, there was what looked like a bloodstain on the floor. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the place had roaches given the lack of cleanliness. For our rate of $109 a night, I wasn't expecting luxury, but I did expect basic cleanliness and decent service. Unfortunately, neither was met. Between the poor room conditions, the outrageous deposit policy, and the incredibly rude staff, this place is a complete rip-off. I won't be staying here again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it.

Definitely not cozy. 1- we arrive and our keys don't work. The front desk does not reset key card instead they come and open it with an actual key and tell us to let us know if we need to leave and come back so they can open it for us. 2- we booked two adults two kids and confirmed when checking in. We had our senior mom with us till our brother could come pick her up when we finished at knots berry farm. The front desk guy that came to open the door for us told us "we have cameras and monitor who stays" I told him that's fine she is leaving tonight when she gets picked up. And they can monitor it if they'd like. 3- one of the kids went to use the restroom and the door handle cut her finger because the metal was peeling up (see photos) At that point we are frustrated so we call in and ask for a different room. They told us they don't have anything and would speak to the manager about a possible discount. We started getting comfortable then they call us again and tell us they are giving us a full refund but we need to check out of the hotel. Ummmmm yeah that's not how you go about it. I think they need some education on customer service, hospitality, and safety. At this point I'm now pissed. I told them I will need their general liability information and I proceeded to take all the photos attached here with all the hazards and safety issues. they refused to give me insurance information and told me to email them it. I'll just call my attorney tomorrow morning and have him request it and proceed as needed. Ps when we went to open door for kid he got cut too. Wasn't making a big deal till they acted so unprofessional! Definitely not recommended. Dirty, unsafe, fire hazard

This place is a dump. Everything is old and dirty and things don't work. It smells and I'm sure people live here. My bedside lampshade is yellow and stained, it also doesn't work. The electrical outlet on it doesn't work. The room was missing the smoke detector. The rug is pulled up in places. The bed is a full size, not a queen. There are stains on b the carpet and the chairs. The desk and order furniture is chipped and cracked. The walls have hopes and paint missing. It's disgusting.

This place is a total con job. You will not get tour $50 deposit back be aware. They charged me all that because I used their 99cent store hand towel to wipe up a few drips from the cherries I ate! He then added he wanted to charge me an additional $23 saying the sheet also had a spot, calling it DAMAGE. How about just wash your old cheesy towels. The air conditioner was banging away, that's room number 3. So you want cheep this place is, must make sure you dont leave one damn spot of anything anywhere. This place has crappy reviews so make sure you take pics, $73 for a cheap white hand towel. What do you think?
