Amazing, have been coming here for 20 years up until the last couple. This place is back top of my list, tried it again today. Excellent meal, wife me and son loved it. Service was great, the new general manager Donny has done an excellent job with this location. Very happy with the experience and will be coming back very soon!

I went to Costa Mesa, which is one of my favorite places. I started with split pea soup, and then when the main courses came, it was time to eat. The club sandwich is the best. It was a perfect meal. We had ice cream and some brownies to finish the night. I highly recommend it. Dalila was our waitress. She was great, always checking on us and making sure we were good.

Pretty mid and kinda pricey. It has a nice older diner feel to it but the food is a bit lackluster. Overall i'd probably choose else where for a smidge cheaper.

MANNNNNN THIS GEM!! Who knew they had a $9.99 deal! And it's amazing! The norms is so old school inside super fun diner vibe the cushions could use a deep clean but it's a great interior. The deal I went for was the $9.99 double quarter pound cheeseburger with fries and wow this was just perfect sooooo juicy the toppings were all good and crisp the house sauce was amazing the fries were great. For $9.99 I may take this double cheeseburger and fries over TK.... My wife got a breakfast platter that was also incredible! Service is fast and efficient friendly great spot. I will be back at least monthly for that burger!

Norms is my favorite diner, and it's almost a requirement whenever I go to LA or OC. It has the comfortable vibes which simply cannot be beat. The music and the atmosphere will always make me feel like home. This time it was the Costa Mesa one and it did not disappoint. Started off with a split pea soup, my all time favorite soup. Then once the entrées came out, it was time to feast. The habanero jalapeño burger is unmatched. It was cooked to perfection. Paired with onion rings, and it was a perfect meal. To end the night we had single scoops of Thrifty Ice Cream, which I highly recommend be part of your meal too. Dalila was our waitress and she was superb. Went constantly above and beyond by checking in on us and making sure we were always well taken care of. I just wish they were closer, but they're always worth the drive.

NORMS Restaurant app has me coming back for the classic diner vibes and has me staying for the unlimited fresh coffee refills! This Norms right on Harbor Blvd has been a staple in the neighborhood for years and of all the times I've been here, the service has been consistently has left me satisfied! Coming in, I get asked for seating right away and the wait is prompt as soon as a table opens up, or are reassured if there's a wait. The food is so classic! I get any combination of a pancake, bacon, eggs, steaks or hashbrowns and it's always a hit. One thing I'll say about the chocolate chip pancakes is that the chocolate is not cooked in with the batter so it's just chocolate chips on top of the pancakes, which to me was a bit disappointing. The quality and portions are really good for the price point. All in all, it's a great experience and the convenience of being a diner staple in the neighborhood just keeps it a great place to come back!

Norm's is what I would consider a classic diner. It reminds me of a Denny's. It was good for a standard breakfast. I had chicken fried steak with eggs and pancakes. All was good except for the gravy. I asked for the gravy on the side the 2nd time because of the chalky flavor. That kept the fried steak batter crispy. For whatever reason the gravy tasted too grainy like it had too much flour or corn starch. It took away from the flavor. I liked the other aspects of the meal though. The egg and hash brown and pancakes did not disappoint. All in all a good hearty breakfast where you leave full and in some cases with leftovers to go. The service is way up there. Everyone is super friendly and happy to be there. That was a pleasant thing to experience. I will be back if ever in the area again.
