Five Stars for Service and Stellar Food at Verde! I've had consistently fantastic takeout experiences from Verde. I often call ahead for recommendations and speak with Anthony--he knows the menu inside and out, and his suggestions are always spot-on. Every order arrives perfectly packaged and full of flavor. The ingredients are fresh, the vegetables are always well-prepared, and every sauce complements the dish beautifully. The Grilled Pork Chop--served with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a savory mustard cream sauce--is absolutely incredible: tender, juicy, and so tasty. The Trout Piccata, pan-seared with a lemon caper butter sauce over roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus, is so delicious I've ordered it several times. The Half Chicken, with Moroccan spice, butter potatoes, roasted tomato, and garlic sauce, is equally impressive--succulent and bursting with flavor. Even the bread and butter deserve a shout-out: simple, divine, and worth every carb. If you want restaurant-quality food that travels beautifully, Verde never disappoints. I can't wait to dine in soon--if takeout is this good, the in-person experience must be exceptional. Huge thanks to Anthony for his great service and flawless recommendations!

Never heard of this restaurant. Was a totally random find without yelp. Was like reliving the 1990's when you didn't care about other's opinions. Restaurant is on the second floor. If you don't want to deal with stairs then park behind the restaurant which is at the same level. Apparently ground floor has a lounge with live music but not when we went for lunch. Comfortable relaxing atmosphere with stellar service. Menu changes with the seasons. We started with their sweet and sour shishito peppers which were delightful. I also went with the "cigarettes and coffee" cocktail which was a rye and amaro drink. If you like Manhattan's you'll enjoy this. My wife had the fennel encrusted pork chop served with a whole mustard sauce. WOW. I probably taste tested 1/3rd her chop because I couldn't get enough. Truly the best pork chop either of us have had. Cooked to perfection with so much flavor. They brine it which kept it so moist. It was served with green beans. I am definitely ordering it next time. Great price too. I went with the salmon which was served with the skin. Super crispy skin yet moist meat. Served with I think was a curry sauce but not 100% sure. Was delicious whatever it was. The fresh corn was tasty but I think broccolini would have been better to sop up the sauce. I'm so glad I took a chance on this restaurant and I cannot wait to return!

My girls and I came here for dinner and overall had a great time. The hostess was super sweet, gave me water, and even walked me downstairs to take a look at the bar while I waited for the rest of my party. We ordered several dishes that we shared from the menu. Though some of the apps had a unique look, they all were flavorful and very tasty. I especially liked the Crudo, but wish it came with some type of toast. The main dishes were also delicious, so food is 10/10. Loved my cocktail, which was recommended by our server. She was awesome 10/10. The only reason why I removed 2 stars is because they had closed the bar downstairs early at 10:30. The whole reason why we came here to begin with was to have dinner upstairs then make our way down to the bar after dinner. I had called while making the reservations to make sure the bar would be open until 12, as stated on the site. And the person that I talked to assured me it would. So because of this, we all had to find and drive to a new place, which is exactly what we did not want to do. So, besides the bar closing early snafu, I do recommend this place for the service and food.

Stopped by here for a small late lunch a I'm glad I gave this place a try! Tried their garlic parmesan fries and the cigarettes and coffee cocktail. Both were a 10/10. The bartender was absolutely friendly and helpful on deciding what drink to get. The restaurant itself had a relaxing vibe. There is a small outdoor seating area which is great for a nice sunny day. I will definately be back again to try their other dishes!

Onion Spread 10/10 Fantastic appetizer!!!! I liked this so much more than I thought I would. I thought to myself, "I don't like onions, so this will be gross." Boy was I dead wrong lol The creme fraiche was thick and creamy; delightful really. I liked the caramelized onions with the aioli, because it didn't have a strong onion flavor. It had such a nice texture and smooth taste. The chip itself was nice and crunchy, so it created a nice balance with the creamy texture. Okay, I'm done raving about that onion spread lol Smoked Trout 10/10 I love salmon. So, I was very excited for this one! Although, I'm not sure if I have had smoked trout before. This was surprisingly very good. The smoked salmon had a nice flavor. It wasn't overpowering, like I had feared. It gave it a meaty texture and was hearty with the salmon. The romesco purée had a hint of garlic, that I liked. It wasn't strong and paired nicely with the other flavors. The lemon-garlic lebnan added some more flavors with a saltiness. Very good! The phyllo cup gave it a nice crunch. Textures blended nicely together.

Came here for dinner with a party of 8. The place has an upscale vibe and the staff is friendly and accommodating. They were able to do separate checks for our group and you can pay with a QR code which makes it so convenient. I started with a daquiri to drink and got the hanger steak with potatoes and trout. Daquiri- It was a nice, citrusy drink. Portion is smaller than what I'm used to but it was strong. Very refreshing! Trout- Fish is fresh and flaky. It was moist and had a mild flavor. Served with snap peas and a charred lemon that adds a burst of freshness to the dish. Hanger Steak with Potatoes- Meat was cooked to perfection with a smoky char. Smashed potatoes had a lovely crisp. The brocolini added balance to the meatiness. Finished with roasted garlic. Such a filling entree! Great experience overall!

I liked the airy open feel of the restaurant but it was a little confusing walking in as there wasn't a host station so you're just standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting for someone to come out and acknowledge you. The staff was friendly but service was pretty slow, especially on a Sunday night when it's not too busy. I got the shrimp cocktail and thought a good size, it was a tiny bit fishy tasting. I got the salmon dish and it was overall good but the crispy skin, which I normally am excited for, it was also fishy. I got a surprise me mocktail and it was perfect, very refreshing. They were able to proved us separate checks per person, which is a huge plus for our group. Parking is plentiful, there's some upstairs around back that no one realizes.

We came here for a date night and we had such an amazing experience. Our server was fantastic and had amazing recommendations. The smoked salmon dip is definitely a must try! The tagliatelle pasta had a butter base sauce that was so flavorful and rich.

We went to the downstairs bar to listen to a friends live performance. It was not busy for a Friday at 6:15pm but quickly filled in. I Ordered the protein bowl with chicken without the tabbouleh (due to gluten free) and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I loved how perfectly bite sized the broccolini was cut up. My husband had the burger and enjoyed it. Our friends had the hangar steak and it looked great-they reported it was a very good steak. I had a glass of delicious Italian Sangiovese. My husband had the "Really? Carrot?" And it was good! Bathrooms are outside/shared with the complex businesses and clean. Service was good. Overall we would definitely return! Would love to sit upstairs next time since we have a 1 year old and keeping him contained in the bar booth was work.
