Honestly we passing by this spot for years and since we moved around the corner we gave it shot, hands down the best fried rice that ive had so Far! Pho noodles was great portioning, and you can never go wrong with the wonton soup! Service was exceptional and the ambiance is relaxing with the air hitting you while enjoying your meal . Would recommend to any pho lovers and most likely to return with the family!

I was introduced to this play by a coworker a few years back. Been coming by for lunch ever since. The portion of food is crazy large. I've brought other coworkers here and many of them will have to tap out and bring their lunch home. I am totally a creature of habit and the owner knows it too...when my coworker and I stop by for pho Friday he already knows what we wanted. Pho Dac Biet with some egg rolls. Friendly service and great food. Can't beat that combination.

I can't believe this took me this long to review! I've been coming to this place since before COVID. I used to order the food either to go or pick up or delivery. The broth is richest and most flavorful I've encountered bar none and that's what sets this place apart. The egg rolls also had me at hello. All that said, I finally decided to venture out after COVID and went to eat in person. At a table. Among humans... ...Enter Bruce. Remembers my order after the first time I come in, greets me with a smile and some good conversation. Rest is history. 4 or 5 years runnin and the man hasn't changed, even threw in some extras with a take out order when he found out I was sick. He goes above and beyond and the family runs that restaurant like rockstars. The energy you put in, they return. Hard not to be friends with people like that. If you have the opportunity, don't miss this gem off Newport blvd. Once you go, you'll be hard pressed to find a better pho place.

Stumbled upon this place while driving up to Huntington Beach on a Saturday afternoon and it's a small mom and pop shop off the 405. We got there around 2pm and we were the only customers. The portion sizes here are HUUUGE!!! For a party of 3 we family styled it and ordered 2 Vermicelli Bowls (with Pork, Shrimp, Eggrolls), Popcorn Chicken, and Spring Rolls (Pork and Shrimp). This was wayyy too much food, we finished 1.5 of the vermicelli bowls, the spring rolls, and we actually ended up barely touching the popcorn chicken and taking it to-go. All this food plus 2 Vietnamese Coffees, and 1 Lemon Drink was under $100 including tax and tip. That's nuts and unheard of these days. Highly recommend this place, it's a great place to get a solid meal for cheap!

This is my 2nd time visiting Wok In, this time to pick up orders to go. Bruce, the owner, is always friendly, welcoming, and personal with all of his clients, while constantly cleaning and taking care of business. Egg rolls - my bf bit into this and he said "yum" and "this is so good"! Fresh spring rolls - soft, bouncy, healthy tasting and a generous size!My daughter can't wait to get off work to eat this. Wonton soup - I divided this in half so I could eat half of it for dinner and the other half for tomorrow's lunch. The wontons were a big size, the pork is flavorful, the bok choy was perfectly cooked, and the broth was clear & seasoned well with fried garlic and green onions on top and bouncy egg noodles. This was so satisfying for me! Bruce knows that my boyfriend eats clean so he recommended chicken with veggies in a gravy. The veggies were my favorite: broccoli, zucchini, cabbage, and carrots were my favorite...cooked perfectly without being overcooked. And then...the lemonade...my VERY FAVORITE!! It's really a freshly squeezed limeade. I've fantasized about this since my last visit. I had one while I was waiting for my order, and had 4 more limeades to go. I've tried re-creating this a few times but it was never as good. The restaurant is simple, clean, and family ran. The prices are very reasonable! I noticed that Bruce and a lot of his customers were on a first name basis, which made it feel personal and homey.

Tucked in a corner of an old strip mall, lies Wok-in. Shared parking lot. We got here on a weekday for lunch around 1230pm and was able to get table for 2. Service was slow and hard to get attention. The place was not packed however there were to-go orders being processed at the same time. We ordered spring rolls (you can request to modify the ingredients), pho and fish in garlic sauce (a few reads from yelp reviews mentioned this dish). But it was overpowering with too much sauce. However in my experience it was ok, nothing extraordinary. What I loved was the pho broth. Protein was less but the flavor was amazing. The fresh spring rolls were a delight with the dipping sauce. Perfect crunch to it. I wasn't a fan of the slow service and the fact that the server/cashier/food runner (all are the same person) was wearing a sleeveless outfit while rushing around. Just not hygienic. Update: You can run all the show you want but if your attitude towards hygienics is less important then I will choose to be comfortable else where. This is based on the business reply I received.

Good was delicious. Was craving Honey Walnut Shrimp and searched Yelp and found this place. Owner was nice and friendly easy to have conversations with. Food was amazing and quick serving. We ordered Spring Rolls (the peanut sauce is flavorful and delicious), Honey Walnut Shrimp and Shrimp fried rice. Honey walnut shrimp was amazing and crunchy. Made fresh. Shrimp fried rice was delectable. Took leftovers home and added an egg for breakfast the next day. Win! Win

Wok In is tucked away, almost hidden. It's a local's gem. Ample parking in a lot, service is extra friendly, food is excellent and comes out fast and piping hot. Wok In serves a variety of asian dishes - chinese, vietnamese, fusion. We like to order the honey glazed walnut shrimp, house fried fish, orange chicken. Portions are hearty. It's both quality and bang for your buck! Please be patient when you come here. This is a mom n pop shop run business... meaning there's only one super nice and cool asian guy running the show up front. He's the server, cashier, food runner and busser. Cut him a break. They have minimal staff to keep food costs (for us) as low as possible in this economy. Anyone can appreciate that!! Support Local. Wok In is amazing! Love this spot and hope it's here to stay!

I had a really good meal at Wok-In / Costa Mesa. I did not anticipate the portion sizes that they serve. The entire order was cooked to order and fresh. The Hot & Sour Soup had a great spicy taste and comes in a very large (meal size) bowl. I ordered a side of Spring Rolls and Chicken Lo Mein for the entree. The entire meal was more than I could handle. The Chicken Lo Mein could be shared with two people easily. The food and service were excellent. I can see why there are so many repeat customers coming back regularly. Nice local neighborhood restaurant.

A locals gem and a true staple of the community. Best broth in Orange County and enough cannot be said to show how clean this place is. The place is a piece of home where the owner remembers who you are and always makes an effort to make you feel comfortable.....in the middle of summer we've been here twice in one week...if that doesn't say enough. The pho is the reason we come, but the aero dynamic fashion and hygiene of the owner is why we stay. Man is quick with it from the kitchen and offers awesome service while also ready for a workout at any time. We will continue to be coming to wok-in as one of our regular staples and appreciate the detail that is taken to keep this place spotless and delicious.
