This was my second time here. The first time was closer to when they first opened. Even after all this time, there's still a line going out the door. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and there were a lot of people in the store and outside. We waited maybe about 20 mins to get to the self order kiosk, but after ordering, we got our drinks pretty fast. I got the crème brûlée matcha swirl. It was a blended drink and had a strong and rich matcha taste. One of my favorite matcha drinks I've had in awhile! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

I tried a matcha drink from here a year ago and was let down. Since I was in the area, I wanted to give this place another shot. I came on a Wednesday morning so luckily there was no line. You order from a kiosk. There's no seating inside but there are a few tables outside. Kuro Hojicha latte, 2/5: The drink initially tasted really good. The black sesame flavor was strong and paired well with the hojicha. Overtime, the black sesame flavor disappeared then everything tasted really watery... This was similar to the drink I had last year. It started off really good then it got watery really fast. Don't think I'll be coming back here unfortunately.

Solid place for matcha focused drinks, but they also have other options if you aren't into matcha. Price is a bit on the higher side for typical boba place in South Bay. On weekends, this place is almost always packed so expect a wait to order & to get your drinks. Staff did churn out drinks fairly quickly though. However, the line management/interior setup could've been better - the ordering kiosk is all the way inside in a corner, and then there's just a crowd of people waiting around inside, so at times it was quite unclear where the line to order actually was. A staff member was also randomly taking orders when not pushing out drinks, but there was no line management so random folks would just go up and order from the staff instead, effectively cutting the line. Parking here is also atrocious on a weekend. So I'd come back if I was already parked in the plaza and the line wasn't out the door, but probably wouldn't be my first choice otherwise. It is solid for matcha drinks, but not the best matcha I have had from a drinks place.

Delicious! We had the Cheese Mousse Hojicha Tea and the Crème Brulee Matcha Swirl - both ordered as recommended on the menu. We would definitely go back for more! Get in line to order from the one touch screen they have. We got lucky and only waited about 10 minutes to order (on a Thursday afternoon) and then another 5 to get our drinks.

Definitely craving some matcha. I needed my matcha fix, and I was near Izumi. It's my first time coming here, and wow. I love the matcha crème brûlée, but of course, stir it very well or you'll get clumps of matcha powder. It was the perfect amount of matcha. The service is amazing and quick. I just order, and a minute later, it's ready. I love that it's ready right away. This is definitely the spot to get some matcha

I rarely try Bay Area spots that I believe truly live up to the trend and are worth the wait - but Izumi is a rare and special bird. Personally, I love matcha, but I've had matcha that was a bit too grassy for me. Izumi proves time and again that quality matcha makes a world of difference. You can absolutely taste it. I love their variety of flavors. My boyfriend even tried their straight up honey matcha, and it was solid. My favorite is the yuzu matcha drink. And you can't go wrong with a matcha latte. Wait time can vary, but the line moves fast. There is a kiosk and cashier inside to process orders in two ways, making the process quicker. Staff are always fast and friendly, even amidst their crazy crowds. Parking is shopping complex spots, and there is picnic table seating around and stores to walk through with your drink. Always a great day when I treat myself to Izumi.

My best friend and I went to Cupertino and stopped by Izumi Matcha. I've been there about five times now, and it never disappoints! They serve some of the best quality matcha around. I recommend going right when they open since the line gets pretty long later in the day. I always get the Crème Brûlée Matcha Swirl it's my favorite! They also have a great selection of other drinks to choose from.

A place with a line bursting out from the store almost all the time. Despite that, the line moves pretty quickly. There's a kiosk, but sometimes a staff member is free enough to take some orders, too. We were helped by the a member, and he was quite friendly. We ordered matcha and black sesame soft serves. Both times I've visited here, they were unfortunately out of hojicha soft serve. The matcha soft serve this was incredibly creamy! Not to sweet, but certainly loaded on matcha. We're glad we ordered two soft serve flavors to help reduce flavor fatigue. This time we went, the black sesame was icy, not very creamy, and a little on the blander side. The prior instance I've gone, it was quite the opposite, so maybe there's consistency issues with the black sesame soft serve?

100% get the crème brûlée matcha swirl. 10/10 Matcha ice cream 9/10 Honey Hojicha Latte 6/10 Strawberry Matcha Latte 2/10 Kuro Hojicha Latte 4/10 Service is fast but there's always a line for this place.
