OVERALL : Taco Bell has opened their "Live Mas Cafe" concept here at the Unuversity Town Center Irvine! They sell the usual fast food that you'd find at a normal Taco Bell, but with a variety of coffees, refreshers, freezes, etc that are only found at the cafe. The inside was open and clean, with plenty of seating and a "coffee bar" time vibe with bar seating around the counters where they prep the drinks. Plenty of self-service tablets to order on and they call your name when the order is ready for pickup. Our order came out quick! Def nice for a quick pick me up. PARKING : This is located at the UTC Irvine (near UCI) -- there's a parking lot out front! FOOD/DRINKS : Wild strawberry churro chiller - vanilla ice cream base w strawberry syrup and churro crunchies Mexican mocha iced coffee - iced coffee with dark chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla flavors. With whipped cream and syrup on top. Surprisingly good drinks! Perf for a fun sweet treat that doesn't break the bank. I liked the Mexican mocha iced coffee the most out of the 2 I tried :)

Im a frequent visitor to this Taco Bell because it's close and convenient, and why not?? 90% of the time there are no real issues because the place is clean the food is relatively fast, the kiosk are functional, and you get tacos! But today, do you know what happens what shattered my faith in this institution that I have visited so many times? I went to the restroom, I used it, but when I came to the sink, expecting to be able to cleanse my hands from dirt and fill, and other impurities inevitable, there was no hand soap! But that's fine, I guess, I told one of the workers and they said they would fill it up. This happened in the afternoon. But I visited it again at, at 10 PM, I went to the restroom again, hoping that their transgression would be improved upon. I was thinking to myself, surely that they had to fill their soap up! But no, there was still no soap. This is a shameful display, and I know for a fact that the manager is aware, and does not care, because I saw him walk in and out of the restroom. Call the health department!

There are plenty of parking spaces. I came here for the cafe concept, and it was not that great. I ordered via the kiosk and got the Caramel Dulce Churro Chiller and Cantina Chicken Bowl. The Caramel Dulce Churro Chiller was super sweet, and I couldn't finish it. I should have guessed it was going to be super sweet 'cause it was caramel dulce churro flavor. Cutest rendition of cafe and Taco Bell. You get the whole Taco Bell menu and more Their drink menu is like having a Dutch Bros in the same shop. The front counter is filled with 10 blenders waiting to prep your orders. Tables are welcoming for you to hangout with friends. Checker boards are laid out on several tables too. You get the coffee shop - bar feeling. Enjoy your ice blended drinks or variety of coffees and sodas. Prices are reasonable too. Many sodas are only $1 Located down the road from UCI in a large strip mall

One of the worst Taco Bell experiences I've had. Decided to try this location because we were nearby and hoped that summer might mean this campus location would be less crowded with college students. Unfortunately this just meant it was more crowded with rowdy teens! It was also so slow, we waited 10 minutes inside for our order (that we had preordered 10 mins before on DoorDash). On top of that, they added chicken to my veggie power bowl. Big miss. I will continue to get my Taco Bell goodies from the Von Karman location.

Absolutely under one star but this opinion not ecx One of the worst Taco Bells I've ever been to. This location on Campus Drive is a total disaster. The staff are rude, lazy, and completely unprofessional. Orders are ALWAYS late -- no matter how simple. They clearly don't care about customer service at all. They take advantage of the fact that most customers are students from UCI -- young people who may not feel comfortable speaking up. It's honestly disgusting how they treat people here. What's shocking is the location. This is Irvine -- one of the cleanest, most respected cities in California -- and this Taco Bell acts like it's in the middle of Compton. No offense to anyone from there, but the way this place is run is just that bad. Go check the reviews -- it's flooded with one-star ratings and complaints. And still, the owner or manager does NOTHING. Either they don't care, or they're just as bad as the staff. It's like they've accepted being terrible. Taco Bell should be ashamed to have their name on this place. Avoid it if you respect your time, money, or basic human decency.

Ordered at 9:45 only 1 baja blast freeze and a blue Gatorade bottle. My friend order a little before be just a medium baja blast soda. We noticed they were busy so we were waiting patiently, but when 10:15 came around we were mad. Lady behind the counter asked for our names, grabbed our melted drinks and tried to hand it to us ?????? We didn't obviously asked for new fresh drinks. We said our order and she checked our order ticket. Gave us 2 Baja blast freeze, 1 small baja soda and 1 large red Gatorade (tasted like melted popsicle) we told her we didn't order all this and she went "here just take it" forcing us out of there and seem annoyed at us. I just wanted my blue Gatorade and Baja blast man.

They will take your money and not give you any food. This is the craziest experience I've ever had in any restaurant... point black period. I have always been patient and understanding, as I have been in the food and service industry myself for years. When I pulled up in the drive thru to pick up my online order, the employee at the drive thru instructed that I wait in their restaurant lobby. I obeyed and parked my car and walked on in. Here is the kicker: I waited 30+ minutes for my order. When I asked for confirmation that my order would still come out after the half hour had passed, they o roceeded to laugh in my face and wondered loudly why I was still there. Mind you, there were people inside the restaurant and out that were patiently waiting as well. Their audible jeers and pointing was so embarassing and not even an ounce respectful. I'm 22 years old with my own apartment and bills to pay. And I wanted a meal to eat tonight and they didn't even bother telling me that my order wouldn't come out. They just kept saying it would eventually come and continued to contribute towards laughing at my plight. Eventually, after waiting a ridiculous amount of time, I just left on my own accord. I probably waited until 3:30 am after I place my order a little before 2:30. Mind you, they were open until 4 today and had the workers confirming their hours over and over again when asked. No sympathy. No human connection. No lack of understanding. I literally lost money and spoke to a person behind the counter telling me to keep waiting. Over and over again. For nothing. I will never come back here again and I hope this business understands the jeapordy they put real people in looking to get a freaking meal to survive. These are college students that want to eat for God's sake. Look at the location. Prime area. Right next to UCI. They stayed open on New Year's Eve this time of day knowing orders would rack in. However, regardless of the targeted population, if something clogged up the orders or business was going way faster than man power could handle, customers would completely understand and accept a valid y such as that. If I was told that it was too much trouble to get to my order today I would have understood and walked away with a refund. It's 2025....just say the app should have closed and online orders should not have gone through. Do NOT make false promises that orders will go through and then laugh at people that wait for the meals they've been promised. LIKE HOW TWO FACED CAN YOU BE? To promise a meal then expect people to give up after waiting half an hour is insulting and ridiculing. And to top it all off it was my fucking birthday. I was born on 12/31/2001. I can show you my drivers license. I ordered my first and last real meal of that day. I could have been fine with everything that went down, but that laughter and rude attitude will forever be engraved in my mind.... especially on a day like today where I could have spent it at home with people who actually cared about spending my birthday with me. I already opened a ticket with the customer service at Taco Bell, and I will be expecting my payment back to my card in full. It would be ridiculous if I did not receive it. I didn't get any of my food! And they confirmed the order??! Like what the heck. If receipts are needed I am happy to provide them. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me and contact me about this situation as I am happy to explain exactly what happened. If Zero stars was a thing I would leave it for the heartless people who left me insecure and sad on my fucking birthday. I asked so many times if my order would be ready and they continued to confirm it would come out at a reasonable time. Yet, it didn't. Figure out what happened that day because I am not the only one filled with promises and empty pockets. You stole a lot of money that day and had too many rude individuals employed. There was a couple that waited an hour. I spoke with them. Embarassing. Sad. Pathetic. Do Better.
