One of the nicer Chinese restaurants I have been to, and definitely the nicest interior design. It is so modern and aesthetic. The food is also very good, fairly priced and big portions. This place is great for groups or date night. Fancier Chinese food that doesn’t break the bank. Servers are very nice too and they have lots of selection on the menu.

Always wanted to try this place. Inside atmosphere is nice. Had high expectations based on Michelin Guide banner (no longer up). But overall pricing is on the upper end but food was mediocre. Eggplant and Noodle was decent. Xia Long Bao was not good - “doughy” even the inside filling was “bready”. The cucumber was pickled not what you might expect sesame seasoned. Was recommended the fresh clams. Suffered from extreme food poisoning for the next 8 days. Not sure how fresh they were or if it’s just a case of bad clams. Not sure I would recommend. Felt like “cooked” food. Not “chef” food. We’ll stick with Lunasia / DTF / Prince Dumpling.

An unbelievably good restaurant!!  It surprising that this was a Michelin new inspector “Discovery”! I had the Do Miao and the filet Mignon with lily bulb and chrysanthemum tea and they served me a small cup of tomato egg drop soup while I waited, which was a nice touch.  Very friendly, attentive service with soft piano playing in the background. I would recommend highly if you’re in/near Alhambra and I look forward to returning many times!

This is a go-to spot for Shanghainese food in Alhambra and it’s recognized as a Bib Gourmand restaurant by the Michelin guide. We ordered a fried noodle dish, braised pork belly, and some vegetables to pair with some rice and were impressed by the flavors and quality of the food.

Eat Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. The flavor is perfect, subtle, layered, and delicious. Expansive menu with a wide variety of dishes from the various regions of China. Schezwan dishes are very strong. We got a mix of dishes and loved them all. Egg drop soup (off menu request), beef fried rice, kung pow chicken, stir fry lamb, sautéed shrimp were all very, very good.

Service was amazing. Friendly staff that is attentive and warm. Very proactive. Good comes fast, and hot as it is made.

Michelin rated restaurant with a hometown feel. Free parking lot, and spill over lot. Also free curb side parking.
