Pretty good chicken burger, not *too* spicy, I think it's worth some of the hype.

The service is friendly and as efficient as it can be for such a popular place. The queue moves quickly and there is no line jumping or any nonsense like that.

I'm not sure I'd necessarily go back with such a long wait time. There isn't that many places to sit/wait/eat outside.

If you go at busy times you're looking at around 45 minutes from the point of you getting into the queue to you getting your food.

Woww!! This place is truly special. Unreal fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw, pickles and comeback sauce on a buttery bun. Doesn’t get much better than that! I got it hot which was perfect heat level. The owner Johnny is running this place likes it’s the first day it’s open. It’s incredible to watch in person. The whole staff is super friendly. Mario and Ryan go up and beyond even talking to every customer like they were their own family. This is a must stop! Nashville hot chicken heaven! Try the banana pudding and juicy fries too!!

I followed my stomach after I watched a TikTok food blogger rave about this spot. I believed the hype, now I just wanted to taste it. DAMN. This was so good. I live 10 minutes away and I was afraid it would lose its freshness on the drive, but it didn’t. Fries were still crispy and stayed crispy throughout my whole meal. I don’t even normally care about fried chicken! But this was my baptism. I got the mild spice level and it was perfect for my weak ass. Their unsweetened peach tea was delicious too.
Yeah, I did have to wait for about 45 minutes from getting in line to walking away on a Sunday afternoon, but they were doing their best and were partying through it. Parking is better than you think. I got a street spot right out front, and it didn’t seem too lucky.
I’m absolutely coming back. 🔥

I’m just going to come out and say it-
This is as OVER-RATED as it gets!!!

The chicken sandwich wasn’t inedible. It just wasn’t mind boggling or BARELY even good honestly (AND I WAS STONED eating it) Me and a buddy purchased the 2.0 along with a side of fries to share (was told one was enough to split (which was totally true))

I got the medium, and like others have mentioned, the sandwich leans on the hotter side of things. So keep that in mind while ordering your spice. Fries were pretty good. Comeback sauce was delicious too. Banana pudding was just perfectly sweet. But the chicken sandwich- was lacking. They try to put their own spin on a chicken sandwich and it just takes away from it if I’m being honest. Maybe the original is better.

The atmosphere and the employees are some of the coolest and best I’ve seen. That deserves all the hype honestly. Some of the nicest and coolest characters I’ve seen. They even threw in a free banana pudding for us.

A comment I had was “Popeyes chicken sandwich is better than this”
But seriously- save your money AND time and go to Dave’s. Totally a hyped up LA chicken place in my opinion. ESPECIALLY for the price they ask🤣

It lives up to the hype! Their fried chicken is unique and tasty! We had the country style quarter bird on bread with pickles that was not spicy as well as the mild chicken sando which is already spicy so I imagine their super spicy option would be fire 🔥! Love the culture and the service vibe that is chill and friendly with lots of team spirit. They even have great quality creative free stickers and merch for you. The comeback sauce is amazing and totally worth getting. They even threw in a free fry for us to try that was covered in pickles, comeback sauce, and chicken bits that was delicious! Such a fun and satisfying meal :)
