N/Soto has a ton of really experimental sushi which is exactly what I was looking for. Their raw section had some good and some bad, like the scallop which was too intense on overpowering.

Their drinks were great and they had a lot of interesting cooked items with some great quality fish. Overall I really enjoyed the food and experience, but there were a few misses for our group.

I wouldn't let that deter you. It is definitely worth trying out.

I wanted to have a good meal Reward yourself after passing the mid-term exam As a result, I have never eaten such a terrible roasted bird restaurant. Environment 80 points fine dining. Picture 2 is grilled beef tongue (medium tenderness + sour and salty sauce). Picture 3 Grilled Chicken Legs (Mediocre and with the same sauce as beef tongue) The first time I ate roasted bird was the sour sauce! ! ! It tastes much worse than New York and other places! Figure 4 Sea urchin + scallop + tuna is okay Picture 5: The king salmon not good. It feels like the salmon from a takeaway shop. The hand roll is like the hand roll sold by 7-11 or FamilyMart.

Absolutely loved this place. We ate at the bar and the bartender was amazing. He was friendly, helpful and made sure we ordered exactly the right amount of food. His cocktails were perfect, like a wizard dishing out magic (I had a second cocktail which I rarely do ☺️). The food was equally good. The home made tofu melted in your mouth. The tuna, uni appetizer was delicate with a dash of wasabi. The heirloom tomato salad was fresh, succulent, and delicious. 😋 The jidori chicken was so flavorful. Overall it was a perfect meal. Every dish was delicious, unique, and fun. Service was great. Dried persimmons were hanging behind the bar, each one named for its unique personality. There were killer whale novelty mugs (complimentary). Would be my go to spot for nice dinner out if I lived in LA. 10/10

The food is phenomenal. We got reservations for 2 at the bar 3 weeks in advance. The bar seating was great, had a nice time chatting with the bartenders and other customers. We ordered 5 dishes per person and we enjoyed everything we got!

Some dishes that stood out:
1. Tripe kushiyaki—this was my favorite, it was so tender and flavorful. I never had tripe prepared like this, it didn’t taste like tripe at all.
2. Raw oysters—the jello was bright and made this common dish so unique
3. Chicken meatball skewer—it’s a big piece and was very juicy
4. Mushroom kushiyaki—the sauce was everything 😋
5. Miso bone marrow—super rich and was so tasty with the rice

They have valet for $12 (cash or venmo)
